It was the second time he has won the Frys.Com Open. However, the first win in 2006 came in Las Vegas and is now titled the Justin tTmberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open while in 2009 his Frys.Com win was in Scottsdale and the event is still the same name.
Played in three PGA Tour events in 2003, best finish T59th FBR Capital Open, played in four Nationwide Tour events, best finish T23rd Monterey Peninsula Classic. Finished T74th in PGA Tour Q-school which gave him a spot on Nationwide Tour in 2004.
2004 Nationwide Summary: Tournaments entered - 28; in money - 10; top-10 finishes - 1; scoring average 71.51 (raned 83rd); money $114,451 (ranked 52nd); best finish, 2nd Gila River Classic at Wild Horse Pass Resort.
2005 Nationwide Summary: Tournaments entered - 27; in money - 24; top-10 finishes - 12; scoring average 69.73 (ranked 3rd); money $495,009 (ranked 1st); Winner Virginia Beach Open, Mark Christopher Charity Classic. After leading the money list moved over to the PGA Tour and until 2010 finished in the top-125 of the money list. Didn't matter because he still had his exemption for winning the year before in Arizona.
Things got better in 2011, made 16 of 28 cuts to go with a pair of top-10 finishes, including a playoff loss at the Puerto Rico Open.
