Eun Hee Ji

Started playing golf at age 13. She credits her father, Young Ki, as the individual most influencing her career. Her father owned a water skiing school and is the former Korean national water ski team coach. Eun-Hee was a Korean national amateur team member in 2003 and won the Korean Women's Amateur. Her nickname among Korean players is Mickey Mouse.
Turned professional in late 2004. Played on the KLPGA in 2005 and 2006 and won several events on the Ladies Asian Tour as well.
In 2006, played on the KLPGA Tour with four top-10 finishes. Also played on the Asia Tour, where she won two events, including the Macaoh Open and the Malaysia Open. T-34th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2007 LPGA season.
In 2007, best finish was runner-up at the Hana Bank KOLON Championship. Won the Phoenix Park Classic and the KB Star Tour in Hampyung on the Korea LPGA (KLPGA).
In 2008, became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the Wegmans LPGA. Recorded seven additional top-10 finishes and crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings with a T-8th at the Samsung World Championship.
In 2009, won the U.S. Women's Open at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa., with a birdie putt on the final hole for her first major championship victory. T-6th at the MasterCard Classic Honoring Alejo Peralta and the LPGA's State Farm Classic, where she carded a career-low 63 in the final round. Crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings with a T-27th at the Evian Masters.
In 2010, best finish was a T-12th at the Safeway Classic.
In 2011, best finish was a T-20th at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.
In 2012, played in 25 events, 18 cuts made, $382,597 (36). She had two top-10 finishes, including a T-2nd at the Wegmans LPGA Championship. Also, T-10th at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, her first top-10 since winning the 2009 U.S. Women's Open, a span of 60 tournaments.
2013 Notes: Played in 26 events, making 23 cuts. She had six top-10 finishes, with a best finish of 4th at the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship. She earned $332,012 and placed 44th on the money list. Crossed the $3 million mark in career earnings in October at the Reignwood LPGA Classic.
2014 Notes: She was 34th on the money list and 48th in CME points, with 23 cuts made in 27 starts. She had five top-10s, with a best finish of T-5th at the Women's British Open.
2015 Notes: Played in 29 events, making 20 cuts, and was 36th on the money list and 29th in CME Points. Best finish was T-2nd at the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship.
2016 Notes: Played in 25 LPGA events and made the cut 23 times. Had three top-10 finishes, including a 3rd at the U.S. Women's Open. Ji was one shot back of leader Lydia Ko after 54 holes and shot 74 in the final round to finish two back of the playoff. She was T-4th at the Founders Cup. Ji was the 54-hole leader but shot 71 Sunday to Sei-Young Kim's 62 and finished eight back. Also, T-7th at the VOA Texas Shootout. She was 33rd on the money list with earnings of $557,358 and 52nd in CME points.
2017 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA events and made 19 cuts. Had four top-10 finishes, including her third career win at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship. Also was T-4th at the CME Group Tour Championship, T-5th at the VOA Texas Shootout, and 10th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Ended the year 23rd on the money list.
2018 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA events making 20 cuts with four top-ten finishes. Ji won the Kia Classic by two shots over Cristie Kerr and Lizette Salas. Her final-round 67 included a hole-in-one on the 166-yard, par-3 14th hole. She won a 2019 Kia Sorrento for making the ace and a new Kia Spider for winning the tournament. Also was T-5th at the Hugel-JTBC L.A. Open and T-7th at the Kingsmill Championship, T-10th at the LPGA Volvik Championship. She was 26th on the money list with $691,571 and 24th in the Race to CME.
2019 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events making 20 cuts with seven top-ten finishes. She was 24th on the money list with $789,695 in earnings and was 20th on the CME points list. She won the season-opening Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions by 2 shots over Mirim Lee. She was 2nd at the Lotte Championship after co-leading going into the final round. Finished 4 shots back of winner Brooke Henderson after weekend rounds of 74-73. Opened with a 67 at the LPGA Mediheal Championship, but with rounds of 72-73-71, finished T-4th 2 shots back of the Kim/Law/Lee6 playoff. Opened the Honda LPGA Thailand with a 63 to lead, but shot rounds of 71-70-68 to finish 5th, 6 shots back of winner Amy Yang. Was T-6th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational with partner Hyo Joo Kim, it was her last top-ten of the season. Crossed the $7 million mark in career earnings with her T-29th finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
2020 Notes: Played in 9 LPGA Tour events making 7 cuts. She was 76th on the money list with $121,072 in earnings and was 87th on the CME points list. Best finish T-18th at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Unfortunately, she ended her streak of three straight years with an LPGA victory, and it was the first time in 12 years she didn't finish in the top 50 in money.
2021 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA events making 19 cuts with two top-10 finishes. She was 45th on the money list with $455,192 and 48th in CME points. Her best finish was T-2nd at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, one back of winner Nasa Hataoka. She was T-5th at the Bank of Hope Match Play, where she lost to Shanshan Feng in 19 holes in the quarterfinals.
2022 Notes: Played in 19 LPGA Tour events, making 17 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 32nd on the money list with $835,642 in earnings and was 41st in CME points. Won the Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play at Shadow Creek for her sixth LPGA victory and first in more than three years. She beat Ayaka Furue, 3 and 2, in the finals to become, at age 36, the oldest winner from South Korea on the LPGA Tour. Ji took a 1-up lead on the ninth hole of the final by holing out for an eagle from 92 yards and then also won the 10th hole. Furue went into the lead by winning the 11th hole before Ji won the 12th with a par, and after they halved the next three holes, Ji won the match with a 10-foot par on the 16th hole. Ji played 111 holes during the week, winning two matches and tying one during group play before sweeping four matches in the knockout portion of the event. The win earned her a spot into the U.S. Women's Open, where she finished T-15th. Was T-10th at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Finished T-41st in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
2023 Notes: She finished T-4th at the Mizuho Americas Open, two shots back of the Rose Zhang/Jennifer Kupcho playoff.
