The Australian PGA Championship was first played in 1929 and has been co-sanctioned with the European Tour since 2015. In 2020 & ’21, it wasn’t played due to Covid; in 2022 was just a PGA Tour of Australasia event.
Royal Queensland was first used in the 2022 event, it was also used in 2001 when Geoff Ogilvy won and in 2000 when Steven Conran won.
