At the age of three, Bring's father introduced him to the game and he has been playing ever since. By the time he hit 15, he had dreamed of playing collegiate golf in the United States. He was recruited while playing in Europe as collegiate scouts made a lot of offers. When it finally got time to visit some of the schools in America, Bring got contacted at the last minute by Texas. It was the first school he visited and felt like home for him.

Even 5,000 miles away, he never forgets about his older brother, Frederik. Frederik, who resides in Copenhagen, Denmark, sees Christoffer two times during the year and has traveled to Austin twice over the course of four years.

After school finishes, he returns to Europe and plays in Amateur championships. Last year he won the Danish National Match Play Championship and was runner-up in the Danish International Amateur Championship, Danish Stroke Play Championship, and English Men's Open Amateur Stroke Play.

His biggest victory came in June 2021 when he shot 67 in the final round of the European Amateur Championship played this year in France and beat Ludvig Aberg by two shots.
