Langasque earned a spot in the Open Championship field for being in the top-30 of the 2019 Race to Dubai race.

Charismatic Frenchman, one of the biggest characters on Tour, known for his sharp short game, quick wit, and fine mustache. After turning professional in 2005, Lorenzo-Vera played on the Alps Tour. In 2006, he won the Open International de la Mirabelle d'Or, a tournament he had also won the year before as an amateur, on his way to 4th on the Order of Merit, which gave him a place on the Challenge Tour for the following season.

On Europe's Challenge tour in 2007, Lorenzo-Vera had recorded eight top-ten finishes going into the last event, the Apulia San Domenico Grand Final, and was 7th on the Challenge Tour's money list. He set a new course record in the first round, and went on to win the tournament, which catapulted him to the top of the end-of-season Challenge Tour Rankings, and guaranteed his card on the top-level European Tour for 2008.

The following year he retained his European Tour card in his rookie season, the highlight of which was a runner-up finish at the 2008 Volvo China Open, an event he led after 36 holes.

Unfortunately, he had poor seasons on the European Tour in 2009 and '10 forcing him back to the Challenge Tour in 2010. Had a tough time piecing things together he finally did it in 2014 when he finished 9th on the Challenge tour with 5 top-tens including runner-up finishes at the Azerbaijan Golf Challenge Open and Shankai Classic.

2015 Notes: Enjoyed the best season of his career in 24 starts made 16 cuts. He finished 78th in the Race to Dubai largely thanks to top tens in the lucrative French Open (T-6th) and British Masters (T-5th). At the French Open, he was the highest-finishing Frenchman after making the cut for the first time in six attempts at Le Golf National.

2016 Notes: Played in 23rd European Tour events making 14 cuts with 3, top-tens. Best was T-6th at the Real Club Valderrama Open de Espana, he also was T-8th at the KLM Open and T-9th at the BMW International Open. Was 94th in the Race to Dubai with euros324,683.

2017 Notes: Played in 21 European Tour events making 18 cuts with 5 top-ten finishes. It was his best year in golf, in his 2nd start of the year was T-4th at the Qatar Masters, was T-7th at the Maybank Championship, and T-3rd at the French Open finishing 4 back of winner Tommy Fleetwood. The finish got Lorenzo-Vera into the first major of his career, he finished T-62nd at the British Open. Had 2 more top-ten, was T-9th D+D Real Czech Masters, and T-10th at the Italian Open. Was 35th in the Race to Dubai, he earned euro1,072,277.

2018 Notes: Played in 24 European Tour events making 19 cuts with four top-ten finishes. Was T-10th at the Qatar Masters. Was 2nd at the Rocco Forte Sicilian Open, losing in a playoff to Joakim Lagergren. Next week was 8th at the Belgian Knockout. Was 3rd at the Omega European Masters 2 shots back of the Fitzpatrick/Bjerregaard playoff. Finished 51st in the Race to Dubai.

2019 Notes: Played in 21 European Tour events making 19 cuts with seven top-ten finishes. Was 19th in the Race to Dubai. Finished T-2nd at the Qatar Masters, 2 shots back of winner Justin Harding. T-5th at the Volvo China Open, 5 shots back of the Korhonen/Hebert playoff. Was T-2nd at the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters, 6 shots back of winner Christiaan Bezuidenhout, T-9th at the Dubai Duty-Free Irish Open. Was T-6th at the Omega European Open, he was a shot back of the five-man playoff that Sebastian Soderberg won. Was T-10th at the KLM Open. Finished his season 3rd at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, two shots back of winner Jon Rahm.

2020 Notes: Played in 10 European Tour events making six cuts with two top-ten finishes. Was 92nd in the Race to Dubai with earnings of euro271,065. Was T-8th at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, four shots back of the Lucas Herbert/Christiaan Bezuidenhout playoff. He finished T-2nd at the Golf in Dubai Championship, two shots back of winner Antoine Rozner.

2021 Notes: Best finish T-29th at the Porsche European Open.
