Adri Arnaus

Arnaus grew up in Barcelona, Spain where his father was the director of a nine-hole par-three course. He started playing golf at age 5 and by the time he was 10 was competing nationally and made the National Team. He won junior events in Spain and Europe which led to him getting a golf scholarship to Texas A&A. He played all four years and on returning to Europe won the 2017 Spanish Amateur Championship. He also became a member of the Spanish team that won the European Amateur Team Championship. He played on the 2017 Alps Tour as an amateur and won two events, the Villaverde Open and the Alps Tour Grand Final, which together, with two runner-up finishes, meant he led to Order of Merit to earn a place on the Challenge Tour for 2018, so he turned professional.
2018 Notes: Played in 22 European Challenge Tour events making 19 cuts with eight top-10 finishes. He won the last event of the year at the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final. He was also 2nd at the Cordon Golf Open and T-3rd at the D-D Real Czech Challenge. He was 2nd in the order of merit with euro205,836.
2019 Notes: Became a member on the European Tour for the first time, played in 31 events making 20 cuts and finishing in the top ten, six times. He finished the year 41st in the Race to Dubai and won euro928,538. Was T-9th at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T-2nd at Magical Kenya Open a shot back of winner Guido Migliozzi. Qualified for the U.S. Open and finished T-58th. Was 2nd at the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters, 6 shots back of winner Christiaan Bezuidenhout and earned a trip to the British Open at Royal Portrush missing the cut. Made birdie on the 72nd hole at the D+D Real Czech Masters to finish 2nd, one shot back of winner Thomas Pieters. Two weeks later shot a final round 64 to finish T-6th at the Omega European Masters a shot back of the five-man playoff. Had his six top-ten of the year with a T-4th finish at the Mutuactivos Open de Espana. Finished his year with a T-28th finish at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.
2020 Notes: Played in 18 European Tour events making 13 cuts with four top-ten finishes. Was 39th in the Race to Dubai. Was T-3rd at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, two shots back of the Lucas Herbert/Bezuidenhout playoff. Was T-5th at the Italian Open, three shots back of winner Ross McGowan. Shot a final-round 73 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship to finish T-6th, five shots back of winner Christiaan Bezuidenhout. Ended his season with a final round 75 to finish T-10th, eight shots back of winner Matt Fitzpatrick.
2021 Notes: Played in 24 European Tour events making 16 cuts with six top-ten finishes. Was 33rd in the Race to Dubai. Was T-9th at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Was T-8th at the Tenerife Open, the next week was T-4th at the Canary Islands Championship. At the Open de Espana shot a final round 67 and was tied for the lead with Rafael Cabrera-Bello. In a playoff Cabrera-Bello won with a birdie on the first playoff hole. Was T-8th at the Portugal Masters, then finished his season T-9th at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.
2022 Notes: Played in 25 European Tour events making 14 cuts with six top-ten finishes. Was 25th in the Race to Dubai. Shot a final-round 71 to finish 3rd at the Saudi International, three shots back of winner Harold Varner III. Was T-9th at the Ras Al Khaimah Classic and T-8th at the Magical Kenya Open. At the Mygolflife Open in South Africa, found himself in another playoff that was won by Pablo Larrazabaa. Arnaus was eliminated when he made a bogey on the first playoff hole. Arnaus got off the snide at the Catalunya Championship to secure his first European Tour victory but it wasn't easy. Arnaus went into the final round seven shots back but shot a 65 to tie Oliver Bekker. It took six holes for Arnaus to claim his first European Tour win when Bekker three-putted on the sixth playoff hole to give Arnaus the victory in his native land, just a few miles from where he was born in Barcelona, Spain. Was T-9th at the Omega European Masters five back of the Thrisston Lawerence/Matt Wallace playoff. Ended his season with a T-9th finish in the DP World Tour Championship.
2023 Notes: Was T-6th at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, three shots back of winner Daniel Gavins. Shot a final round 67 to finish 2nd at the SDC Championship, seven shots back of winner Matthew Baldwin.
