Andrea Lee

Andrea Lee began playing golf at around five years old and credits her father introducing her to the sport. She says her most memorable golf experience was representing the United States in the 2013 Ping Junior Solheim Cup. She also mentioned that she has four hole-in-ones in her young career. Outside of playing golf, Andrea enjoys snowboarding, shopping, watching movies, reading, and singing.
In 2011, Andrea had five top-4 finishes out of seven AJGA events she participated in, including three runner-ups at the Preseason Junior at Oak Valley, ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior, and the Girls Championship. For her performances, she earned 2011 Rolex Junior All-American Second Team honors.
In 2012, she notched third- and fourth-place finishes at the AJGA Annika Invitational and AJGA Ping Invitational, respectively. Most notably, she made it to the round of 32 at the U.S. Women's Amateur that year, earning her 2012 Rolex Junior All-American First Team honors.
The following year in 2013, Lee won the CIF State Championship and finished second in both the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions and AJGA Ping Invitational. Participated in the U.S. Women's Amateur, where she missed the cut by one shot, and the U.S. Girls' Junior, where she advanced to the round of 32. Named a 2013 Rolex Junior All-American First Team member and 2013 Daily Breeze Player of the Year. Also won the Honor Roll Award from 2011-2013 and earned a Certificate of Recognition by the mayor of Hermosa Beach in 2009 and 2013.
Lee was a quarterfinalist at the 2014 and 2015 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship and finished 69th at the 2012 U.S. Women's Open. She qualified for the 2017 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and was a quarterfinalist at the 2016 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and the runner-up at the 2016 U.S. Girls' Junior. She was also named the 2014 Rolex Junior Player of the Year and a semifinalist at the 2014 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.
She was named to the Rolex Junior All-American First Team for four straight years (2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015). Lee won the 2015 Southern California Amateur Championship and finished second at the 2015 Pan American Games.
She joined the Stanford University women's golf team in the fall of 2016.
In her freshman season at Stanford, she was named the PING/WGCA Freshman of the Year and was a finalist for the PING/WGCA Player of the Year. Lee won three individual titles (Windy City Collegiate, East Lake Cup, Peg Barnard Invitational) and posted six other top-10 finishes. She was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and was named to the All-Pac-12 First team. At the 2017 U.S. Women's Amateur, she advanced to the Round of 64.
In her sophomore season, Lee won three individual titles and earned four other top-10 finishes. She was named to the All-Pac 12 First Team for the second consecutive season and WGCA All-American first team. She was runner-up at the 2018 NCAA Championships and a 2018 United States Palmer Cup team member. In 2017, she led the USA to a team victory in the World University Games. She represented the United States in the Curtis Cup for the second time in 2018, after competing in Ireland at the 2016 Curtis Cup.
In her junior season, Lee won two titles at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge and the Ping-ASU Invitational. She had three other top-five finishes and earned Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month for the third time in February 2019. She played in the U.S. Women's Open and finished T-60th. Made it to the semifinals of the U.S. Women's Amateur and was beaten 2 up by Gabriela Ruffels who went on to win it. Turned pro in 2019 and finished T30 at the LPGA Q-Series to earn status for the 2020 LPGA Tour season.
2020 Notes: Played in 15 LPGA Tour events, making 11 cuts and two top-ten finishes. She was 48th on the money list with $242,944 in earnings and placed 50th on the CME points list. Was T-5th at the Marathon Classic and T-7th at the AIG Women's Open.
2021 Notes: Played in 18 LPGA Tour events, making eight cuts. Was 109th on the money list with $107,165 in earnings and 107th on the CME rankings. Best finish T-14th at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.
2022 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Tour events, making 16 cuts with six top-ten finishes. She was 20th on the money list with $1,102,543 in earnings and 15th on the CME rankings. She was 4th at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play, where she reached the semifinals before losing to Eun-Hee Ji 4 & 3 and then fell to Lilia Vu 3 & 2 in the consolation match. She was T-5th at the Palos Verdes Championship, three shots back of winner Marina Alex. She was T-5th at the Kroger Queen City Championship, then the next week won the AmazingCre Portland Classic for her first LPGA victory. Lee made five birdies on the back nine Sunday to shoot a 6-under 66 and win at Columbia-Edgewater CC by one shot better than Daniela Darquea. She was 6th at the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship and 2nd at the BMW Ladies Championship, finishing four shots back of the winner, Lydia Ko.
2023 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events, making 17 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 48th on the money list with $595,807 in earnings and 60th on the CME rankings. She finished T-9th at the Freed Group Women's Scottish Open, six shots back of the winner, Celine Boutier. Next week, she will finish T-9th again at the AIG Women's. She was T-10th at the Portland Classic. Made the U.S. Solheim Cup team and was 1-2-1 in the matches. She ended her season at the CME Group Tour Championship, finishing T-57th.
2024 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events, making 17 cuts with five top-ten finishes. She was 20th on the money list with $1,241,817 in earnings and 42nd on the CME rankings. She was T-9th at the LPGA Drive On Championship, 7th at the HSBC Women's Champions, and T-5th at the Fir HillS Seri Pak Championship. At the U.S. Women's Open, they had a share of the 54-hole lead but shot 75 on Sunday to finish T-3rd, four shots back of the winner, Yuka Saso. Was T-9th at the Portland Classic. Played in her second Solheim Cup and was 2-0-1. She halved her singles match with Esther Henseleit. Was T-42nd at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
2025 Notes: Finished T-3rd in the Mizuho Americas Open, five shots back of winner Jeeno Thitikul. Was T-6th at the Dow Championship with partner Lucy Li and T-5th at the Amundi Evian Championship.
