Played in the 1989 and 1990 U.S. Amateur. Played on the Nike Tour in 1992 and 1993. best finish, runner up in 1992 Ben Hogan Texas Open. . . Qualified for the PGA Tour in 1994 when he finished T11th in 1993 Qualifying tournament. . . Only problem was that the year got off to a bad start when his home in Northridge, Calif., was damaged in an earthquake in Jan. 1994.
