Bruce Fleisher

Won the 1968 U.S. Amateur with a score of 284, a record at the time, at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio. Member of the 1969 USA Walker Cup and World Amateur Teams.
Played on the PGA Tour 1972-1984 with a career-best runner-up finish at the 1981 USF&G Classic and 1974 Quad Cities Open. Quit the Tour in 1985 to become a club professional in Florida. Came back to PGA Tour in 1991 and surprised the golf world when he won the New England Classic in his first start back in a seven-hole playoff victory over Ian Baker-Finch. Played full-time again on PGA Tour between 1991 and 1998. In total had 410 PGA Tour starts, with one win, four seconds and two thirds. Had 25 top-10 finishes and career earnings of just under $1.7 million. . .Winner, 1989 PGA Professional National Championship and was a member of the 1990 PGA Cup Team.
In his 1999 debut on the Champions Tour, won his first two events, the Royal Caribbean Classic and the American Express Invitational. Earned Rookie of the Year honors, Player of the Year and the Byron Nelson Trophy for lowest scoring average (69.19). Joined Lee Trevino (1990), Bruce Crampton (1986) and Miller Barber (1981) as the only players to win seven official events in their first year on the Champions Tour. Won the 2001 U.S. Senior Open by one stroke over Isao Aoki and Gil Morgan at Salem Country Club in Peabody, Mass.
Has limited his schedule to just nine starts in 2012 and six in 2013. His last top-10 was in the 2012 Legends of Golf teamed with good friend, Tom Jenkins. In 2015 played twice, T=68th at the Allianz Championship and 79th at the Greater Gwinnett Championship.
