Craig Barlow

Barlow was born and grew up in Henderson, Nevada. He turned professional in 1995. Is a cousin of Brandon Flowers, who is the lead singer of The Killers. Barlow is a seasoned-veteran on the PGA Tour, and now plays out of the prestigious Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort.
Five years before he joined the PGA Tour, was delivering pizza for Pizza Hut five nights a week. Ranked fifth in state of Nevada as a high school tennis player in 1990. Won the 1990 Nevada State High School Championship and the 1992 Southern Nevada Golf Associates Championship. Runner-up in both the 1994 Southern Nevada Amateur & Las Vegas City Amateur.
His whole career has been marred with injuries, having hip and shoulder surgery in 2001 and bothered with hip and wrist injuries in 2004. In 2007, limited to 16 events due to a left wrist injury suffered at the PODS Championship. After the PODS Championship, did not play for nearly four months due to rest and rehabilitation. Came back at the AT&T National in early July and played in nine events the rest of the way, with a best finish of T-25th at the Reno-Tahoe Open. Granted Major Medical Extension and played in 11 events during 2008.
Ended the 2009 Web.Com Tour season No. 51 on the money list, thanks to four top-10 finishes. Picked up his first top-10 finish in at the Stonebrae Classic, where he tied for 6th. Added his second top-10 with a tie for 7th at the Web.Com Tour Players Cup. Finished alone in third place at the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic, his career-best Web.Com Tour performance and best tournament showing since he was third at the PGA TOUR's 2006 Nissan Open. Was T-10th at the Price Cutter Charity Championship. Split time between the Web.Com Tour and PGA Tour after making his 150th career PGA Tour cut, at the Buick Open in early August, where he was T-57th. Split time between the Web.Com and PGA Tour in 2010. Played 15 Web.Com Tour events, with two top-10 finishes. Ended the year 93rd on the money list. Posted his first top-10 of the year in his fifth start, the South Georgia Classic. Recorded his second top-10 three starts later, at the Melwood Prince George's County Open. Made the cut in eight of 10 PGA Tour starts but his only top-10 was a tie for 5th at the Reno-Tahoe Open. In 2012, made it to Stage II of PGA Tour Q-School and the following year advanced to Stage II of Web.com Q-School. Was playing on the All-American Gateway Tour where he had three top-10 finishes including a runner-up at Trilogy Golf Course.
Says that his biggest thrill in golf has been playing in five U.S. Open's and his biggest thrill away from the game was the birth of his son. When he was a child, served as standard bearer at the Las Vegas Invitational and later worked on the tournament operations staff. His favorite course to play is Pebble Beach and says that his dream foursome includes his father, brother and son.
