Emily Kristine Pedersen

Her full name is Emily Kristine Pedersen. She started playing golf at the age of 10 and played in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2012 and 2014 and the Junior Solheim Cup in 2014.
She had a successful amateur career, winning the 2013 Doral Publix Junior Girls Classic for the second straight year and was sixth at the Junior Orange Bowl. She won the 2013 Spanish International Ladies Championship. Also won the 2013 International European Ladies Amateur Championship and the 2014 British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship, beating Belgium's Leslie Cloots, 3 and 1, in the final at Royal St. George's. As an amateur in 2014 missed the cut at the Ricoh Women's British Open and was T-47th at the Evian Championship. Emily decided to turn professional after finishing 4th at the 2014 Ladies European Tour School.
2015 Notes: Played in 14 LET events and had 5 top-10s for a successful first season. She finished runner-up in the Deloitte Ladies Open and the Lacoste Ladies Open de France before winning the Hero Women's Indian Open. She was named LET Rookie of the Year for 2015 and finished 6th in the Order of Merit, winning 171,688 pounds.
2016 Notes: Emily competed in 16 LET tournaments and had 6 top-15 finishes to finish the season in 7th place on the LET Order of Merit. Emily's best finish of the year was T-5th at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco. At the end of the year, she went to America and finished T-27th at the LPGA final qualifying tournament, earning her limited status on the LPGA for 2017.
2017 Notes: Played 9 times on the LET but only made 4 cuts, best finish was T-13th at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open, which just happened to be her best finish on the LPGA Tour, where she played in 15 events making 9 cuts. She finished 90th on the LPGA money list. Did make the European Solheim Cup team as a captain's pick by Annika Sorenstam and was 0-3-0 in the matches.
2018 Notes: Pedersen started 20 LPGA Tour events, making six cuts in playing exclusively on the LPGA. She was 129th on the money list with $55,025 in earnings and 127th on the CME points list. Best finish T-23rd at the Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic, ended her thoughts of playing full-time on the LPGA Tour. Played in three LET events, best finish T-50th at the Estrella Damm Ladies Open and Andalucia Open De Espana.
2019 Notes: Returned to playing full-time in Europe, played in 14 LET events, making 8 cuts. Finished 55th on the Order of Merit. Best finish T-16th at the Lacoste Ladies Open De France. On the LPGA Tour, played in 7 events and made one cut, T-65th in the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open.
2020 Notes: She turned her game around and won four events along with a runner-up and third-place finish. She played 12 LET events, making 12 cuts, and was in the top 15 ten times. Of her four wins, three of them came in a three-week stretch in November as she became the first player since Marie-Laure de Lorenzi in 1989 to win three straight LET events. Her season started slowly with a T-50th at the Ladies Classic and T-37th at the Women's NSW Open. She had her first top-ten with a T-7th at the Investec SA Women's Open. Then, just about everything shut down for COVID-19. During the break, Emily had time to reflect, re-charge, and resume as the player she used to know. She won an amateur event on the Danish Golf Union's Elite Tour. Because of all the problems with COVID-19, they allowed professionals to play. Then, in an ECCO Tour event, the Bravo Tours Open, the men's tour invited nine women to play, and Pedersen won it. All of this gave Pedersen some confidence, and at the ASI Ladies Scottish Open, she finished 2nd after losing to Stacy Lewis in a playoff that included four women. Next week was T-11th at the AIG Women's Open, and then I won the next week at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. After that, she played in three more events before her perfect November. It started with a victory at the Saudi Ladies International over Georgia Hall in a playoff. She won the individual portion of the Saudi Ladies Team Championship by two shots over Ann Van Dam, Luna, and Stephanie Kyriacou. Her team of Cassandra Hall, Michele Thompson, and amateur partner Matt Selby also won the team competition. After that, the tour moved to Spain for the last event of the year on the LET, the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana. She started strongly with a first-round 68 but shot 68-66 over the weekend to finish four shots in front of Nuria Iturrioz. With the win, Pedersen also won the Race to Costa Del Sol. The season ended with a bummer as she returned to the United States to play in the U.S. Women's Open and missed the cut.
2021 Notes: Played in 11 Ladies European Tour events, making 11 cuts. She was 36th in the Race to Costa Del Sol points list and 16th on the money list with earnings of euro117,900. Best finish T-13th at the Aramco Team Series- Jeddah. On the LPGA played in nine events making 7 cuts, her best finish was T-17th at the Honda LPGA Thailand. At the Tokyo Olympics, playing as a member of Denmarks's Women's golf team, she finished T-5th, just three shots from the Mone Inami/Lydia Ko, which determined the Silver and Bronze medals. She was 3-1-0 on the European Solheim Cup team and scored the winning point in the matches for Europe by beating Danielle Kang, 1 up in singles. At the end of the season, she returned to the LPGA Q Series and regained her playing privileges for 2022 by finishing T-14th.
2022 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA Tour events, making 15 cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 80th on the money list with $287,174 in earnings and was 80th in CME points. She also played in seven LET events, making five cuts and two top-ten finishes. She was 15th on the money list with earnings of euro206,072 and was 65th in the Race to Costa del Sol. She was 4th at the Saudi Ladies International and shot a final round 67 to finish six shots back of winner Georgia Hall. On the LPGA Tour, best finish is T-4th at the ISPS Handa World Womans, seven shots back of the winner Maja Stark. Her last event for the season was T-19th at the Andalucia Open De Espana.
2023 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA Tour events, making 19 cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 88th on the money list with $427,401 in earnings and was 70th in CME points. She also played in seven LET events, making five cuts and one top-ten finish. She was 21st on the money list with earnings of euro227,247 and was 86th in the Race to Costa del Sol. She started her season with a 6th-place finish at the Saudi Ladies International, four shots back of the winner Lydia Ko. She was named as a captain's pick to the European Solheim Cup team and was 2-2-1 in the matches, with a hole-in-one during the Friday four-ball session. She didn't get her first top-ten on the LPGA tour until her last event for the season at the Annika Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, finishing T-5th, five shots back of the winner Lilia Vu.
2024 Notes: 2024 Notes: Was T-7th at the Honda LPGA Thailand, finishing five shots back of the winner, Patty Tavatanakit. She was 6th at the Aramco Ladies International and T-8th at the Aramco Team Series - London. She was T-6th at the JM Eagle LA Championship, finishing eight shots back of the winner, Hannah Green.
