Grace Kim

Kim was raised in Greenacre, New South Wales, by Korean-born parents, enjoyed a stellar amateur career, and in 2019, reached No. 29 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking to become Australia's highest-ranked female amateur. She amassed several titles, including the 2017 Australian Girls' Amateur and the 2018 Annika Invitational Australasia in New Zealand, with rounds of 72, 62, and 68. After back-to-back wins in the NSW Women's Amateur in 2020 and 2021, she triumphed at the 2021 Australian Women's Amateur in Adelaide.
She is a four-time recipient of the Karrie Webb Scholarship and won an individual gold medal at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires. She became Australia's second-ever competitor in the Augusta National Women's Amateur in 2021 (missed cut)
Kim also played for the Australian National Team, and she won bronze at the 2017 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup in Japan. In 2018, she represented Australia at the Espirito Santo Trophy and Queen Sirikit Cup. She won the Patsy Hankins Trophy with the Asia/Pacific team in 2018.
In 2019, she participated in the Korean National Sports Festival, where she shot a 61, including a 28 on the first nine holes, to comfortably win the international women's gold. She made it to the round of 16 at the U.S. Junior Amateur and lost to Brooke Seay on the 21st hole. She finished T-12th in the 2019 Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship.
Kim is a member of Avondale Golf Club and was co-captain of the NSW Women's team, which defended its crown at the 2019 Australian Interstate Teams Matches. In 2019, she was awarded Golf NSW's Female Golfer of the Year.
Kim spent seven and a half months in the United States in 2021 and won two titles on the Women's All-Pro Tour as an amateur. She finished T-10th at the Prasco Charity Championship and competed in the U.S. Women's Amateur, where she lost to Rachel Heck 7 & 6 in the Round of 32.
Kim won the TPS Sydney on the ALPG Tour in 2021 and again in 2022 after turning professional in late 2021. In March 2022, she rose to 288th in the Women's World Golf Rankings. She gained conditional status for the 2022 Epson Tour at LPGA Q-School.
2022 Notes: Played in 19 Epson Tour events, making 15 cuts with four top-ten finishes. She was fifth on the Epson Tour money list with earnings of $89,720 to earn her LPGA Tour card for 2023. She won the IOA Golf Classic by five shots over Hyo Joon Jang and Sarah Jane Smith.
2023 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA Tour events, making 16 cuts with two top-ten finishes. In her rookie season, she was 29th on the money list with $959,443 in earnings and was 31st in CME Points. She was T-2nd in the Vic Women's Open, five shots back of winner Jiyai Shin. She was T-6 at the TPS Sydney in Australia. Missed the cut at the LPGA Drive On Championship at Superstition Mt., her first LPGA event as a pro. In her third career LPGA start, she won the LOTTE Championship, beating Yu Liu and Yu Jin Sung with a birdie on the first playoff hole. She was T-10th at the Cognizant Founders Cup. The season-ending CME Group Tour Championship was T-47th.
2024 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA Tour events, making 22 cuts with three top-ten finishes. In her rookie season, she was 51st on the money list with $805,240 in earnings and was 62nd in CME Points. She was the 54-hole co-leader at the JM Eagle LA Championship but shot 77 on Sunday to finish T-25th, 11 back of winner Hannah Green. At the Meijer LPGA, she had a share of the 36-hole lead and led going into the final round, but she shot 73 on Sunday to fall into a tie after regulation and saw Lilia Vu win the playoff with her and Lexi Thompson. Finished T-5th at the Dow Championship with partner Auston Kim. She was T-9th at the Portland Classic. In the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship was T-25th.
2025 Notes: Kim put together the most incredible finish to win the Amundi Evian Championship. In regulation, she birdied 15 and 16, then made an eagle at 18 to force a playoff with Jeeno Thitikul. In the playoff, both made birdie at the first extra hole, and then Kim made eagle at the second extra hole to win.
