Greg Kraft

Kraft was born in Detroit, Mich. He graduated from the University of Tampa in 1986 and turned professional later that year. He played on the Web.Com Tour in 1990, 1991, and 2005; and on the PGA Tour from 1992 to 2004, and 2006 to 2010. He has one win on each tour.
His lone official PGA Tour victory came in 2008, at the inaugural Puerto Rico Open, his 379th career start. Kraft won by a stroke over Bo Van Pelt and Jerry Kelly after being up by three strokes with one hole to play.
Earned his PGA Tour card for 1993 in dramatic fashion. After making birdie on the last two holes to make the cut at the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament, he fired a 5-under 31 on the back nine at the TPC at The Woodlands course to shoot 68 and vault into T-35th.
Joined the PGA Tour in 1992, and prior to 2008, his best season was in 1999 when he finished second twice for the first time in his career. He was second at the Doral-Ryder Open, one shot short of Steve Elkington. Was also T-2nd at MasterCard Colonial, one shot behind Olin Browne. Held share of 54-hole lead at MasterCard Colonial after tying the course record with a third-round 61 but closed with a 70. Also was second to Jeff Maggert by three strokes in the 1993 Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic and second to Nick Price by a stroke in the 1994 Motorola Western Open after leading Price by a shot after 54 holes. First played full-time on the PGA Tour in 1992 after finishing 36th on the money list on the 1991 Web.com Tour.
On the Web.Com Tour played in 81 events and won the 2005 Northeast Pennsylvania Classic. On the PGA Tour has played 441 events, making 220 cuts. Finished 28 times in the top-ten with one win, four runner-up finishes, and three thirds. He earned a total of $5,786,218 on the PGA Tour.
At the end of 2013 attempted to gain exempt status for the 2014 PGA Tour Champions season at the National Qualifying Tournament. Finished T-23rd at TPC Scottsdale when he carded a final-round 74. Did not make his senior circuit start until the 2015 ACE Group Classic, finishing T-18th.
2015 Notes: Played in 8 events, open-qualified for the 3M Championship and finished T-7th. Was 83rd on the money list and 72nd in the Schwab rankings. Went back to PGA Tour Champions Q-School and finished T-36th.
2016 Notes: Played in 10 PGA Tour Champions events, including four as an open qualifier. Turned in his best outing of the year in September when he open qualified for the Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach and finished T-7th, earning $64,000. Earlier in the year he was T-13th in the Constellation Senior Players Championship and T-14th in the Principal Charity Classic in Iowa, where he also open qualified. Made U.S. Senior Open debut, finishing T-48th at Scioto Country Club. Ended the year 69th in the Schwab rankings and money list. Went back to Q-School at the end of the year, finishing T-17th.
In 2017 played in two events, missed cut in the U.S. Senior Open and T-54th at the Constellation Senior Players. In 2018 was T-65th at the Principal Charity Classic and T-28th at the Shaw Charity Classic. Went through all stages of Q-School, was T-4th in the final stage and earned full exemption for the 2019 season
2019 Notes: Best finish T-58th at the Chubb Classic.
