Hannah Green

Hannah Green started playing golf at age 10, influenced by her father.
She advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2013 U.S. Girls' Junior. In 2015, she finished runner-up to Lydia Ko at the ISPS Handa New Zealand Women's Open.
She advanced to Round 32 in the 2015 U.S. Women's Amateur after finishing stroke play T-3rd. In the 2016 U.S. Women's Amateur, she lost to Mathilda Zappeliez in 19 holes in the quarterfinals.
Green turned pro in October 2016 after a solid amateur season in which she was runner-up at the Canadian Women's Amateur.
Outside of golf, she enjoys going to the gym, watching movies, and going shopping.
2017 Notes: She played against the men in the 2017 Western Australian Open on the Australasian Tour and missed the cut. She won three times on the Symetra Tour in 2017 and was second on the money list to win the Rookie of the Year award. Green made 20 starts with 12 top-10 finishes. She won the Sara Bay Classic, El Dorado Shootout, and the IOA Golf Classic.
2018 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA events, making 14 cuts with one top-10. Best finish, 3rd ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open. Playing in the final group with eventual champion Jin Young Ko, Green shot 69 on Sunday and finished 4 shots back of Ko. Green also played in the Oates Vic Open on the Ladies European Tour and finished T-3rd, six shots back of the winner, Minjee Lee. Finished 73rd on the LPGA money list with $244,474 and 76th in the Race to CME.
2019 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA events, making 19 cuts with four top-tens. She was 12th on the money list, earning $1,043,537, and 12th on the CME points list. It was a big year as she won twice, first at the KPMG Women's PGA. She started with a 68 in the 1st round, winning it wire-to-wire and by a shot over Sung Hyun Park. Two months later, she won the Cambia Portland Classic. She opened with rounds of 63-64, finished at 21-under 267and won by a shot over Yealimi Noh.
2020 Notes: Played in 14 events, making 13 cuts. She had just one top-ten finish, which came in the year's last event, finishing T-2nd at the CME Group Tour Championship, five shots back of winner Jin Young Ko. After finishing T-13th at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open, she stayed home in Australia and stayed there for the five-month break due to COVID-19.
2021 Notes: Played in 18 LPGA Tour events, making 16 cuts with four top-ten finishes. She was 28th on the CME Points list and 36th on the money list with $580,227 in earnings. Was T-3rd at the Hugel-Air Premia L.A. Open, shot a final-round 66 to finish two shots back of winner Brooke Henderson. Her next start was 2nd at the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore. She was a shot back of winner Hyo Joo Kim, who shot a final round 64 for the win. The next week was T-7th at the Honda LPGA Thailand. The next month was T-3rd at the LPGA Mediheal Championship, six shots back of the winner Matilda Castren. Green qualified for the Tokyo Olympics as a member of the Australian golf team and finished T-5th, three shots out of the playoff for the Silver and Bronze medals. Green ended her season with a T-15th finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
2022 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Tour events, making 21 cuts with nine top-ten finishes. She was 18th on the money list with $1,175,048 in earnings and was 18th in CME Points. She began her season by winning consecutive events on the WPGA of Australia in February. She won the Vic Open by six shots and won at the TPS Murray River event. Returning to the LPGA Tour, she shot 66-66 over the weekend to finish T-6th at the HSBC Women's Championship, four shots back of winner Jin Young Ko. At the DIO Implant L.A. Open, I finished 2nd, five shots back of the winner, Nasa Hataoka. Next week was T-5th at the Palos Verdes Championship, she was the 2nd and 3rd round leader, and shot 72 in the final round. She was T-5th at the KPMG Women's Championship, four shots back of the winner, In Gee Chun. She was T-3rd at the Amazingcre Portland Classic, two shots back of the winner, Andrea Lee. She was T-10th at the BMW Ladies Championship and T-4th at the Pelican Women's Championship, five shots back of the leader, Nelly Korda. In the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, finished T-33rd.
2023 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA Tour events, making 16 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 24th on the money list with $1,027,812 in earnings and was 29th in CME Points. She won the JM Eagle LA Championship in a playoff over Aditi Ashok and Xiyu Lin. Green made a 25-foot birdie putt on the final hole to join the playoff, and then made par on the second extra hole for the victory. She played for Australia in the Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown and had a 2-2-1 record, helping Australia reach the finals. She was T-4th at the CPKC Women's Open, three shots back of the Megan Khang/Jin Young Ko playoff. She was 7th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Finished the season at the CME Group Tour Championship, finishing T-23rd.
2024 Note: Played in 20 LPGA Tour events, making 16 cuts with seven top-ten finishes. She was 9th on the money list with $2,074,873 in earnings and was 7th in CME Points. Made birdie on her final three holes to win the HSBC Women's Champions by a shot over Celine Boutier. Green shot 61 in the second round of the Ford Championship to take the 36-hole lead, but shot a 75 in round three and eventually finished T-21st. Won her second event in 2024 at the JM Eagle LA Championship. Green a final round 66 to beat Maja Stark by three shots. Shot a final round 63 at the Mizuho Americas Open to finish 2nd, a shot back of the winner, Nelly Korda. She played in the Paris Olympics as a member of Australia's women's golf team, finishing T-4th, a shot from Xiyu Lin, who won the bronze medal, and four shots back of the winner, Lydia Ko. She won for the third time at the BMW Ladies Championship, winning by one shot over Celine Boutier. Green shot 64 in the first round to share the lead and took the lead for good with another 64 on day two. With the win, Green became the first Australian player to win at least three times in one season on the LPGA since Karrie Webb won five times in 2006. She won the Greg Norman Medal as the top Australian golfer in 2024.
2025 Notes: Was T-4th at the Founders Cup, eight shots back of the winner Yealimi Noh. Was T-7th at the HSBC Women's Champions and T-9th in defense of her JM Eagle LA Championship.
