Hira Naveed

Her parents are immigrants from Pakistan. She was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. Naveed first picked up a golf club at the age of 9 and seriously began to pick up the sport at age 10.
She started when she went to a golf course with her dad. She picked up and club and started hitting balls and started hitting them well. One of the professionals at the golf course wondered how long she had been playing golf. Her dad responded that she literally just started hitting five minutes ago. Golf became a passion, a lifelong sport, and a career goal for him. She played college golf at Pepperdine and was the 2019 WCC Player of the Year, winning three tournaments, including the conference championship. She was a four-time first-team all-league player.
Naveed played collegiate golf at Pepperdine University. Pursued professional golf because she loves competitiveness. As an amateur, she was a member of the 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup, and won the 2015 Dunes Medal and Victorian Junior Masters events. She turned pro in 2019 and played on the Epson Tour from 2020 to 2023, playing in 58 events. Her best finish was T-4th in the 2022 Twin Bridges Championship. She finished 15th in the finals of the 2023 LPGA Q Series to earn her LPGA card for 2024.
2024 Notes: She made 11 cuts in 21 starts as a rookie on the LPGA Tour and was 72nd in CME Points and 86th on the money list. Only her third career LPGA event (first LPGA start in America) finished 2nd at the Ford Championship, two shots back of the winner, Nelly Korda.
2025 Notes: Best finish, T-8th at the Mizuho Americas Open and PIF Saudi Ladies International.
