Jaravee Boonchant

She was born and raised in Thailand and began playing golf at age 6. Boonchant came to the U.S. at age 14 to attend the IMG Academy. Many junior competitions were won by Boonchant, including the AJGA Thunderbird International Junior and the Rolex Girls Junior Championship. In international games, including the Asian Games and the World Junior Girls Championship, she also represented Thailand.
Boonchant continued her success at Duke University, where she was a four-time All-American and a member of the 2019 national championship team. Boonchant earned a psychology degree and a diploma in markets and management studies before graduating in May 2021. She was 12th in the 2019 Augusta National Women's Amateur and missed the cut in 2021.
She turned pro in December 2021 and earned Epson Tour Membership by completing 72 holes at Stage II of the 2021 LPGA Tour Qualifying Tournament. Jaravee won her first professional title at the BGC Thailand LPGA Masters 2021.
2022 notes: Played in 16 Epson Tour events making 13 cuts with 4 top-ten finishes. She was 12th on the Epson Tour money list earning $76,543. In her first event was T-4th at the Copper Rock Championship. Ended her season winning the Epson Tour Championship, beating Riley Rennell by a shot. At the end of the year was T-21st at LPGA Q Series to earn her LPGA card for 2023.
2023 Notes: Was T-9th at the JM Eagle LA Championship, her first LPGA top-ten. She was T-7th at the Dana Open, where she was the first-round co-leader after an opening 64.
Boonchant is currently dating Sadom Kaewkanjana, who is playing on the Asian Tour.
