Peiyun Chien

Chien started playing golf at the age of 12 and goes by the nickname "Money." From 2009 to 2011, she won four times on the Taiwan LPGA. She played in 11 events on the Symetra Tour in 2012 and one in 2013 before focusing on playing in Asia until 2016.
2016 Notes: She was 10th on the Symetra Tour money list, earning her LPGA card for 2017. She won the Kansas City Championship, shooting 9-under 135 to beat Jackie Stoelting and Emma Talley by one shot after the final round was washed out due to unplayable course conditions.
2017 Notes: Was a rookie on the LPGA Tour, playing in 29 events and making 16 cuts. Had one top-10 finish, T-3rd at the Marathon Classic, shooting a 64 in the final round. Finished 67th on the LPGA money list.
2018 Notes: Played in 29 LPGA events, making 20 cuts with two top-ten finishes. She was T-6th at the Lotte Championship, 6 shots behind winner Brooke M. Henderson, and T-7th at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic. Earned $232,905 and was 75th on the money list and 77th in the Race to CME.
2019 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA Tour events, making 13 cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 92nd on the CME Points list and 101st on the money list, earning $123,047. Her best finish was T-9th at the Cambia Portland Classic.
2020 Notes: Played in eight LPGA events, making five cuts, she was 114th on the money list with earnings of $37,779. Her best finish was T-20th at the Marathon Classic. Played in two Symetra Tour events and won the Symetra Classic. Ended the year winning on the Taiwan LPGA at the Mobile Ladies Open.
2021 Notes: Started the year winning the Hitachi Ladies Classic on the Taiwan LPGA. She played in three LPGA events, making one cut, T-19th at the Volunteers of America Classic. Peiyun played in 17 events on the Symetra Tour, earning a win at the Circling Raven Championship and two additional top-10 finishes. Also, she finished 19th in the race for the Card Standings.
2022 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA Tour events, making 11 cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 92nd in the CME rankings and 84th on the money list, earning $243,857. She started the year by finishing 2nd at the Hitachi Ladies Classic on the Taiwan LPGA. She was T-4th at the ISPS Handa World Womens, seven shots back of winner Maja Stark. She ended her season playing in Taiwan and was T-14th at the Wistron Ladies Open and T-3rd at the Taiwan Mobile Ladies Open.
2023 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events, making 15 cuts with five top-ten finishes. She was 49th in the CME rankings and 56th on the money list, earning $518,400. Open her season, finishing T-25th at the Hitachi Ladies Classic. Shot a final round 67 at the LOTTE Championship to finish T-4th, one shot back of the Grace Kim/Yu Liu/Yu Jin Sung playoff. Shot 67 to lead after the first round of the Chevron Championship but went on to finish T-49th. Was T-9th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational with partner Yu-Sang Hou and 8th at the ISPS Handa World Women's. Finished T-5th at the Kroger Queen City Championship and 5th at the Maybank Championship. She ended her season, finishing T-43rd at the CME Group Tour Championship.
2024 Notes: Played in 27 LPGA Tour events, making 21 cuts with two top-ten finishes. She was 61st in the CME rankings and 61st on the money list, earning $646,124. Chien began the year winning the Hitachi Ladies Classic on the Taiwan LPGA. At the Honda LPGA, Thailand was the first-round leader with a 64, but with rounds of 72-74-68, finished T-23rd. Finished T-4th at the Cognizant Founders Cup, 16 shots back of the winner, Rose Zhang. Was T-7th at the Evian Championship. She played at the Paris Olympics as a member of Chinese Taipei's women's golf team and finished T-18th.
2025 Notes: Best finish T-16th at the Mexico Riviera Maya Open. Shot 70 on Monday to qualify for the AIG Women's Open
