Pelle Edberg

Returned to The European Tour for the 2015 season after successfully negotiating the Qualifying School Final Stage at the end of 2014. Has grown familiar with the Q-School over the years after 14 visits, and also graduated from the Challenge Tour in 2011, when a fifth-place finish at the Grand Final moved him into the top 20 on the Rankings. Has come close to winning on The European Tour, in 2008 just missing out at the SAS Masters and the Bank of Austria GolfOpen. Born on a golf course - the Edberg family hotel at Jönköping boasts two layouts ? he started playing the game aged three with his father, Stefan, and brother, Hans. Turned professional in 1997 and first entered the Qualifying School in 1998, but it was not until 2004 that he achieved success for the first time. During the winter in Sweden, he enjoys playing indoor floorball.
