Wei-Ling Hsu

Hsu started playing golf at age 7. She was watching too much TV at home, so her dad took her to the driving range. She likes baseball and photography. She does not like noisy things, but likes it when fans clap for her.
2013 Notes: She made 12 cuts in 14 starts on the 2013 Epson Tour with a win at the Credit Union Challenge. She was 15th on the money list. She was T-3rd in the Technology Cup and 3rd in the South Taiwan Open on the Taiwan LPGA. She ended up 6th on the final 2013 Taiwan LPGA money list.
2014 Notes: She won the Self Regional Health Care Women's Health Charity Classic on the Epson Tour, and was 2nd at the Friends of Mission Charity Classic. She was 6th on the Epson Tour money list to earn her LPGA card for 2015. Given a sponsor's exemption into the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic and finished T-35th. She missed the cut in the U.S. Women's Open.
2015 Notes: Played in 28 events, making 25 cuts and finishing 60th on the money list and 60th in CME points. Best finish was 8th at Yokohama Tire Classic, her first LPGA top-10.
2016 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA events, making 12 cuts. Her best finish was 15th at Honda LPGA Thailand. She was 103rd on the money list with $79,396 and placed 102nd on the CME points list.
2017 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA events, making 16 cuts. Best finish, T-10th, Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship. Finished 71st on the money list with $240,212.
2018 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA events, making 20 cuts with four top-ten finishes. She was 2nd at the PureSilk Bahamas LPGA Classic, two shots back of winner Brittany Lincicome, for a career-best finish. Also, T-7th at the KIA Classic and T-6th at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship. At the U.S. Women's Open was T-5th, 9 shots back of the Jutanugarn/Kim playoff. She was a member of the Chinese Taipei team for the UL International Crown tournament and was 0-3-0 in the matches. Ranked 31st in the money list with $630,924 and 39th in the Race to CME.
2019 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA Tour events, making 23 cuts with two top-tens. She was 53rd on the CME points list and was 56th on the money list, earning $373,611. Shot an opening round of 65 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open and led after the first and 2nd rounds. Shot 74-68 over the weekend to finish 3rd, 5 shots back of winner Nelly Korda. Shot 65-66 over the weekend at the Pure Silk Championship to finish 5th, 3 shots back of winner Bronte Law. Finished the season with a T-35th finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
2020 Notes: Because of COVID, only played in three LPGA events in January and February, made one cut, T-55th at the Women's Australian Open. Played in four Taiwan LPGA events, T-4th a the CTBC Ladies Open, T-5th at the Wistron Laddies, and 2nd at the Taiwan Mobile Ladies.
2021 Notes: Played a full schedule in 22 LPGA Tour events, making 14 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 53rd on the CME Points list and 51st on the money list, earning $415,379. She was T-7th at the KIA Classic and T-6th at the LOTTE Championship. Won for the first time on the LPGA Tour at the Pure Silk Championship, shooting 65-68 over the weekend, beating Moriya Jutanugarn by two shots. Played for the Chinese Taipei women's golf team at the Tokyo Olympics, finishing T-15th.
2022 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events, making 15 cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 83rd on the CME Points list and 79th on the money list with earnings of $282,242. She was T-9th at the Meijer LPGA Classic, shooting 66-66 over the weekend.
2023 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Tour events, making 14 cuts with three top-25 finishes. She was 96th on the CME Points list and 86th on the money list with earnings of $267,395. Best finish T-12th at the Annika Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican.
2024 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events, making 16 cuts with three top-25 finishes. She was 76th on the CME Points list and 79th on the money list with earnings of $455,528. She had three top 10s with a T-6th in the ShopRite Classic and the Maybank Championship for her best finishes of the season. She was T-8th at the Dow Championship with partner Ssu-Chia Cheng. They were the 36-hole co-leaders before shooting 70 in round three to fall off the pace. She qualified for the Paris Olympics as a member of Chinese Taipei?s women?s golf team and finished T-8th.
2025 Notes: Was T-5th at the ShopRite LPGA, five shots back of the winner, Jennifer Kupcho. Finished T-10th at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
