Yan Liu

Yan Liu started playing golf in 2013 when she was 11 years old with her mother's encouragement. Her mother loves the game, and they often play together.
Liu started playing in junior tournaments at 16. She loved the feeling of competing and decided to pursue it further. Her best score is 11-under, which she accomplished during her junior career.
In 2016, T-5th at the EFG Hong Kong Ladies Open and made it to the first stage of the Ladies European Tour. She qualified for the 2016 U.S. Women's Open but missed the cut.
In 2017, she finished T-4th in the Le Coq Sportif Beijing Ladies Classic and T-14th at the LET Lalla Meryern Cup.
In 2018, she finished second in the China Women's Open, presented by WGS, and the CLPGA Tour Tieling Longshan Golf Challenge.
Liu won her first CLPGA title at the 2019 EFG Hong Kong Ladies Open.
She dreams of becoming one of the Top 3 players in the world and a full-time LPGA Tour member.
As of May 2019, Yan is ranked No. 1 on the CLPGA Order of Merit and is No. 5 on the China Women's Golf Rankings. She is No. 296 on the Rolex Women's Golf Rankings.
2020 Notes: Played in six China LPGA events, best finish 3rd at the Moutai Co.Ltd Golf Liquor Zhuhai Golden Gulf Challenge. was T-22nd in the Florida's Natural Charity Classic
2021 Notes: Played in ten Epson Tour events, making five cuts. Best finish T-20th at the Carlisle Arizona Women's Golf Classic. Was 94th on the money list with earnings of $7,977.
2022 Notes: Played in 21 Epson Tour events, making 17 cuts with four top-ten finishes. She finished ninth on the Epson Tour money list with earnings of $80,139 to earn her LPGA card for 2023. She won the Four Winds Invitational in a playoff over Kiira Riihijarvi and Gabby Lemieux.
2023 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA Tour events, making 14 cuts with two top-ten finishes. Was 82nd on the money list with $285,474 in earnings. She finished 3rd in the ShopRite Classic, three shots back of the winner Ashleigh Buhai. With partner Muni He, she was 7th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational.
2024 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA Tour events, making 11 cuts with no top-ten finishes. Was 88th on the money list with $313,352 in earnings and finished 89th on the CME points list. Best finish. T-13th at the JM Eagle LA Championship.
2025 Notes: Shot an opening round 65 at the Chevron Championship and shared the first and second round lead. But finished up on the weekend with rounds of 72-75 to finish T-9th. Shot 65-65 over the weekend to finish 4th at the Black Desert Championship
