Yuna Nishimura

Nishimura attended Osaka University of Commerce High School. As an amateur, she finished 6th at the 2016 Japan Women's Open, four shots behind winner Nasa Hataoka. In 2017, she was runner-up at the Japan Junior Championship and individually at the Junior Golf World Cup.
In 2018, she was runner-up in the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific and individually at the Queen Sirikit Cup, both times behind Atthaya Thitikul. She led her team to win the 2018 Junior Golf World Cup and a runner-up finish at the 2018 Espirito Santo Trophy in Ireland, behind the United States. In 2019, she won the Riversdale Cup in Australia.
2020/21 Notes: Nishimura turned professional in November 2019 and joined the LPGA of Japan Tour in January 2020. During her rookie year in 2020, Nishimura won her first JLPGA tour. In the 2020-2021 season, Nishimura played in 51 Japan LPGA events, making 46 cuts and 22 top-ten finishes. She won times over the year and was in the top five, 10 times. She was 5th on the money list, earning Yen175,257,855 (USA$1,290,160).
2022 Notes: Played in 30 JPGA events, making 29 cuts with 13 top-ten finishes. She won twice, at the Nichirei Ladies and Nipponham Ladies Classic. She was 2nd on the JLPGA money list with earnings of Yen149,158,595 (USA$1,045,700). On the LPGA Tour, she was 4th in the TOTO Japan Classic. After the season, she finished T-24th at the LPGA Q Series to earn her card for 2023.
2023 Notes: Played in 25 LPGA Tour events, making 19 cuts with two top-ten finishes. She was 48 on the CME rankings and 47th on the money list, earning $610,557. Was T-3rd at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, four shots back of winner Hae Ran Ryu. Was T-8th at the Buick LPGA Shanghai, was T-13th at the CME Group Tour Championship. Played in 5 JPGA events, making 5 cuts with 4 top-ten finishes. Best finish T-3rd Sumitomo Life Tokai Classic She was 72nd on the JLPGA money list with earnings of Yen13,506,000 (USA$92,075).
2024 Notes: Was T-3rd at the HSBC Women's Championship, shot a final round 66 to finish four shots back of winner Hannah Green. She was T-7th at the Mizuho Americas Open.
