Karlin Beck

Started playing golf at age 11 and credits her grandfather for introducing her to the sport.
Had a very successful junior golf career while attending Trinity Presbyterian School. Was named AHSAA Varsity Golf All-State and Academic All-State, AHSAA Varsity Basketball Academic All-State and All-Metro Honorable Selection. Was a Wendy's High School Heisman nominee and named to the "Who's Who Among America's High School Students" list. Won the 2007 Women's Alabama Golf Association stroke-play championship.
Originally played her collegiate golf at Birmingham-Southern College in 2006-07, where she averaged 77.69 strokes over her 32 rounds as a freshman.
Transferred to Auburn for her sophomore year where she participated in a few team qualifying events and was named an Auburn Academic Top Tiger and an honoree on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Beck redshirted the following year and once again earned those academic honors. In the 2009-10 season as a redshirt junior, her best finish was a T-10th at the Auburn Invitational after she posted a single-round 76. She advanced to the match-play portion of the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links later that year.
Finished her senior season with a 76.67 stroke average in six tournaments. Finished 22nd at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Classic with rounds of 72-76-72.
Gained her LPGA Tour Card for the 2012 season after finishing tied for third in 2011 LPGA Tour Q-School. Member of the LPGA Tour for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Her best finish was 46th at the 2012 Navistar LPGA Classic.
Has been playing on the Symetra Tour thus far in 2014 where in eighth starts her best finish is 14th at Florida's Natural Charity Classic.
When she's not playing golf, Karlin likes to play tennis and watch movies. Says if she hadn't become a professional golfer, she would have liked to become a movie production assistant. She is a self-proclaimed news junkie. She qualified for the LPGA Tour on her first attempt. Is the daughter of Steve and Kathy Beck and has one sister, Kinley. Graduated from Auburn with a degree in accounting.
