In 2000, turned professional Aug. 15 and competed in one event on the SBC Futures Tour, where she tied for 19th; qualified for the LPGA Tour by tying for 23rd at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2001 season.
Amateur
Hart's amateur career is highlighted by wins at the 1995 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship and the 2000 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship. She was also a semifinalist at the 1998 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship. While at the University of North Carolina, she won the 1997 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic, the 1999 Fripp Island Intercollegiate and the 2000 Bryant Invitational.
