Pornanong Phatlum

Phatlum started playing golf at age 9. Credits her father as the individual who is most influential in her career. When she's not playing golf, she likes to go shopping, listen to music, surf the internet, and watch movies. Her brother, Pornpong, caddies for her on Tour and wears matching apparel during each round.
Was competitive on the pro circuit as an amateur. Competed on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT), finishing T-16th at the 2005 Phuket Ladies Masters and winning the 2006 Hong Kong Ladies Open prior to turning professional.
In 2008, won the DLF Women's Indian Open and Thailand Ladies on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT). T-34th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn Priority List Category 20 for the 2009 LPGA season.
In 2009, successfully defended her title at the Women's Indian Open for her fourth career international victory. Carded a career-low 67 in the first round of the Navistar LPGA Classic. Made her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the third round of the Safeway Classic.
In 2011, best finish was T-13th at the Honda LPGA Thailand and the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup. T-18th at the Safeway Classic. T-19th at the LPGA State Farm Classic. T-24th at the Kia Classic. T-25th at the Wegmans LPGA Championship. Won the Hitachi Ladies Classic in Taiwan.
2012 Notes: Played 26 events, made 20 cuts, and earned $217,577 (55th). Had a career-best T-12 at the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. Won the HSBC LPGA Brasil Cup, an unofficial event on the LPGA Tour. On the LET, played in five events and made three cuts. Won the Hero Women's Indian Open at DLF Golf and Country Club for the third time, which was tri-sanctioned with the Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT) and Women's Golf Association of India (WGAI). Also finished second at the World Ladies Championship in China.
2013 Notes: Played in 25 events and made 22 cuts. Finished 23rd on the Tour money list and had seven top-10 finishes including a career-best runner-up performance at the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. Carded a career-low 63 in the final round at that tournament. Finished 10th on Tour in fairways hit and sand saves.
2014 Notes: She was 20th on the money list with $735,031 and 33rd in CME points with 22 cuts made in 26 starts. She had seven top 10s, including a 2nd at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia, where she finished three back of winner Shanshan Feng. Started the season T-3rd at the Pure Silk-Bahamas Classic.
2015 Notes: She made 21 cuts in 28 starts with three top-10s and ranked 38th on the LPGA money list. Her best finish was a T-2nd at the Cambia Portland Classic, where she finished 8 behind winner Brooke Henderson. She was T-3rd at the Founders Cup. Phatlum won the Hitachi Ladies Classic on the Taiwan LPGA Tour.
2016 Notes: Played in 27 LPGA events making 24 cuts. She had five top-10 finishes and four top-5s. Phatlum posted her second career runner-up finish at the HSBC Women's Champions, finishing four behind winner Ha Na Jang. Was T-4th at the Blue Bay LPGA. She was T-5th in the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic with a 65 in the final round. Also T-5th at Kingsmill Championship, four back of Ariya Jutanugarn. Finished 30th on the money list with $617,761 and 38th in CME points. She was T-25th at the Rio Olympics as a member of Thailand's women's golf team.
2017 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA events making 22 cuts. Had 3 top-10 finishes including a season-best 4th place finish at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, shooting a final-round 62 to finish 3 shots back of winner Katherine Kirk. Started her year with a T-5th at the Pure Silk Bahamas then a T-7th at the Handa Women's Australian Open. Was 45th on the LPGA money list.
2018 Notes: Played in 27 LPGA Tour events making 21 cuts and two top-10 finishes. First was T-7th Honda LPGA Thailand and the second was a runner-up finish at the Ricoh Women's British Open. She led after the first and second rounds, shot 70 in the final round by Georgia Hall shot 67 to beat her by 2 shots. She was a member of Thailand's team in the UL International Crown and was 0-3-1 in the matches. Was 43rd on the money list with $534,304 and 44th in the Racer to CME.
2019 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events making 17 cuts. Was 64th on the money list with $318,027 in earnings, finished 65th on the CME points list. Best finish T-14th Bank of Hope Founders Cup and KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
2020 Notes: Played in 12 LPGA Tour events making 7 cuts. Was 102nd on the money list with $58,924 in earnings. Best finish, T-25th VOA Texas Shootout.
2021 Notes: Best finish T-16th Pure Silk Championship.
