Su Oh

Also goes by the name Su-Hyun Oh. She was born in the Republic of Korea and took up golf after she moved to Australia when she was 8. Credits her dad as having the most influence on her career. Has played on the Australian Tour (ALPG), Ladies European Tour, Symetra Tour, and now the LPGA. Made it to the final stage of 2014 LPGA Q-School but failed to get a card. Turned pro in 2015. In her pro debut, she finished 2nd at the Oates Victorian Open. In her second professional start, she earned her first win at the Volvik RACV Ladies Masters, which was co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour and ALPG.
As an amateur became the youngest player to ever qualify for the Women's Australian Open at age 12 in 2009 but missed the cut. Won the 2010 Victorian Girls Championship. In 2011, won the Aaron Baddeley International Junior and GNJGF Junior Masters.
Captured the Australian Girls' Amateur, Srixon International Junior Girls Classic, Dunes Medal, Port Phillip Open Amateur, and Victoria Amateur in 2012. Teamed with Minjee Lee to boost Australia to a come-from-behind victory (Oh shooting 65 and Lee shooting 66 in the final round) at the 2014 Women's World Amateur Team Championship in Japan.
Also won the 2014 WA 72 Hole Stroke Play and the Lake Macquarie Amateur, Port Phillip Open, and Victorian Amateur in 2013.
She was the top amateur on the World Amateur Golf Ranking in October 2013. She reached the quarterfinals of the 2013 U.S. Women's Amateur. She won the 2012 Australian Girls Amateur. She won the Karrie Webb Scholarship of Australia in 2013 and got to spend the week of the U.S. Women's Open with Webb. When Oh won the 2015 Australian Ladies Masters as an 18-year-old for her first win as a professional, she said words of encouragement from Webb that helped her stay relaxed.
2015 Notes: After turning professional played on the Ladies European Tour. In her pro debut, she played in the Ladies Victorian Open and was tied for the lead with 3 holes left but bogeyed all three to lose her chance at victory. The next week she won the Australian Ladies Masters, this time making birdies on the final four holes to beat Katherine Kirk, Florentyna Parker, and Charley Hull by 3 shots. She played on the Symetra Tour in 12 events and made 7 cuts. She had 2 top-10s, including a best T-3rd at the Symetra Tour Championship. She finished 48th on the money list with $16,867 and earned conditional status on the LPGA Tour for 2016 by finishing T-32nd at 2015 Q School.
2016 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA events making 17 cuts. Had 2 top-10 finishes, the best was 2nd at the Kingsmill Championship. Also was T-8th at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. For the year was 50th on the money list with $383,623 and 60th in CME points. Played in 4 LET tournaments and secured her best finish of the season was T-14th at the Handa Australian Women's Open. She was T-13th at the Rio Olympics as a member of Australia's women's golf team.
2017 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA events making the cut 23 times. Collected two top-10 finishes along with four additional top-25 finishes. She had her first top-10 finish with a T-4th at the Meijer Classic. She was three back of winner Brooke Henderson. On the LET was T-3rd at the Oates Victorian Open. Also had a T-5th at the McKayson New Zealand Women's Open.
2018 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA events making 20 cuts with four top-10 finishes. Best finish T-4 at the LPGA Volvik Championship, 3 shots back of winner Minjee Lee. Was T-4th at the CP Women's Open. Also T-5th at the ShopRite Classic, 4 shots back of winner Annie Park.
2019 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA Tour events making 19 cuts with four top-ten finishes. Was 33rd on the money list with $640,703 in earnings and placed 29th on the CME points list. Started the year T-2nd at the ISPS Handa Vic Open, 2 shots back of Celine Boutier. Was T-2nd at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, one shot back of winner Brooke Henderson. Finished the season T-8th at the Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA, T-32nd at the Toto Japan Classic, and T-6th at the CME Group Tour Championship, five shots back of winner Sei Young Kim.
2020 Notes: Played in 13 LPGA Tour events making 5 cuts with one top-ten finish. Was 86th on the money list with $97,479 in earnings and was 84th on the CME points race. Opened the season with a T-6th at the ISPS Handa Vic Open. After that, the next best finish was T-11th at the VOA Texas Shootout.
2021 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA Tour events making 19 cuts with two top-ten finishes. Was 42nd on the CME Points list and 53rd on the money list with earnings of $407,745. Was T-2nd at the Cambia Portland Classic, four shots back of winner Jin Young Ko. Three weeks later was T-7th at the ShopRite Classic. Finished the season with a T-28th finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
2022 Notes: Started her season winning the Fortinet Australian WPGA Championship, four shots better than Grace Kim. The next month was T-4th at the Vic Open, also a part of the WPGA. On the LPGA Tour her best finish is T-18th at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play.
