Kelly Kraft

Starting playing golf at age 12. Went to SMU where he got an advertising degree. Kraft won the 2011 Trans-Mississippi Amateur, then went on to win the 2011 US Amateur beating Patrick Cantlay 2-up in the final. Named to the 2011 US Walker Cup team. Two-time Texas Amateur champion. No. 6-ranked amateur in the world.
Kraft turned professional after competing in the 2012 Masters Tournament. In doing so, he forfeited his invitations to the 2012 U.S. Open and 2012 Open Championship. Kraft played in eight tournaments on the PGA Tour in 2012 through sponsor exemptions, only made the cut in 3 best finish was T-57th at the Crowne Plaza Colonial. Went to PGA Tour Q-School at the end of the year and finished T-146th.

2016 Notes: For his rookie year played in 20 PGA Tour events making 12 cuts with 1, top-ten. Best finish was T-5th at the John Deere Classic. Finished the year 165th on the FedExCup list and 168th on the money list forcing him back the Web.com Tour finals. Made one cut from three starts (was T-5th at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship and that help him finish 39th in the final priority-ranking order to retain his PGA Tour card for 2017.
2017 Notes: Played in 27 PGA Tour events making 12 cuts. Was in the top-ten 3 times. A banner year for him, finished 2nd, 4 shots back of winner Jordan Spieth at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-am. It was his 41st PGA Tour start and best to date. Earned second top-10 of the season at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, teaming with Kevin Tway to fire a final-round 61 for a 3rd place finish in the two-man team. At the Greenbrier Classic shot a final round 64 to finish T-5th. Finished the year 72nd in the FedExCup rankings.
2018 Notes: Was T-8th at the Honda Classic and then 3rd at the Corales Puntacana Championship. Had his 2nd career runner-up finish at the Greenbrier, finishing 5 shots back of winner Kevin Na.
