Lee Hodges

His earliest golf memory is playing with his dad. While playing for four years for Ardmore High School, was named the Daily Preps Boys Golfer of the Year in 2012 and 2013. Was the medalist at the 2014 Alabama 4A State Championship. He began his college career at the University of Alabama-Birmingham before transferring to the University of Alabama for his final two collegiate seasons. He was named the 2015 Conference USA Freshman of the Year and a member of the All-Freshman team, and a first-team.
After graduating from Alabama, he turned pro in 2018; Hodges made it through Mackenzie Tour PGA Tour Canada qualifying tournament and played in 9 events. He was 2nd at the ATB Financial Classic and 3rd at the Staal Foundation Open. He won $44,781 and was 15th in the Order of Merit. At the end of the year went to Korn Ferry Tour qualifying and finished T-50th earning a Korn Ferry Tour card for 2019.

He was T-6th at the Korn Ferry Challenge in his first start after the break. T-8th at the TPC San Antonio Challenge at the Canyons, T-7th at the Pinnacle Bank Championship. Earned his first career Korn Ferry Tour title at the WinCo Foods Portland Open. Birdied his final hole to win by two shots over four players and earn a U.S. Open exemption. Was T-7th at the LECOM Suncoast Classic and T-5th at the Emerald Coast Classic. He was T-5th at the Live and Work in Maine Open, three shots back of winner Chad Ramey. 2022 Notes: He played in 29 PGA Tour events, making 18 cuts and two top-ten finishes. He was 76th in the FedExCup rankings. They held a share of the lead after the first and third rounds of The American Express before finishing T-3rd, three shots back of winner Hudson Swafford. It was his first top-10 on the PGA Tour. He was T-9th at the Honda Classic. In the FedExCup playoffs, he was T-13th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
2023 Notes: He played in 34 PGA Tour events, making 20 cuts and three top-ten finishes. He was 40th in the FedExCup rankings. He was T-7th at the CJ Cup in South Carolina and T-6th at the Valero Texas Open. Won the 3M Open in wire-to-wire fashion, earning his first career PGA Tour title in his 65th career start at the age of 28 years, 1 month, 16 days. Won by seven strokes over Martin Laird, Kevin Streelman, and J.T. Poston, becoming the first player to win on the PGA Tour by seven shots or more since Dustin Johnson at the 2020 FedEx St. Jude Championship (11). Became the first player to win the 3M Open in wire-to-wire fashion and the first wire-to-wire winner on Tour since J.T. Poston at the 2022 John Deere Classic. Made two eagles in the final round (Nos. 6 and 12), becoming the sixth player (seventh instance) on record (1983-present) to hold the 54-hole lead/co-lead and go on to make multiple eagles in the final round. In the FedExCup playoffs was T-31st at the FedEx St. Jude and T-45th at the BMW Championship.
