Belen Mozo

Started playing golf at age 8 and credits her mother as the person who most influenced her career.
Represented Spain at the 2005 Junior Solheim Cup and Europe at the 2004 Junior Ryder Cup.
In 2006, she won the Girls' British Open Amateur, and the following year, made the cut at the 2007 Women's British Open. She won the British Ladies Open Amateur.
Was a semifinalist at the 2008 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and led the University of Southern California to the team title at the 2008 NCAA championship, placing fourth individually. Helped Spain to a second-place finish at the 2009 European Women's Team Championship. Underwent rotator cuff surgery that year after a shoulder injury that limited her play.
2010 Notes: She turned professional after recovering from shoulder surgery, and placed T-8th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she earned Priority List Category 11 for the 2011 LPGA season. She was a member of the USC team that finished second at the 2010 NCAA Division I Championship, placing 21st individually.
2011 Notes: Her best finish was T-5th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Played in eight tournaments on the LET, notching a T-13th at the ANZ RACV Ladies Masters and the Portugal Ladies Open.
2012 Notes: Played in 21 events, making 17 cuts and earning $143,094 (68th on the list). Had a season-best finish of T-11th at the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship. Played in eight tournaments on the LET, finishing T-13th at the ANZ RACV Ladies Masters and the Portugal Ladies Open.
2013 Notes: Played in 20 LPGA events and made the cut 13 times, finishing 81st on the money list. Recorded a season-best finish of T-28th at the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship. Made four cuts in five events on the LET and had a season-best finish of T-16th at the Volvik RACV Ladies Masters.
2014 Notes: Mozo was 55th in earnings with $301,675 and 38th in CME points, making 18 cuts in 27 starts. She had a career-best finish with a T-4th at the Manulife Financial Classic, finishing at 16 under 268, seven shots back of winner Inbee Park. She was part of the Spanish team that won the inaugural International Crown and clinched the cup by making a 15-foot birdie putt on the 16th hole to close out her match with Moriya Jutanugarn of Thailand, 3 and 2, as Spain finished 4-0 in singles play. Played in 4 LET tournaments best finish Was T-8th at the Volvik RAVC Australian Masters.
2015 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA events making 11 cuts and posting a best finish, T-16th at the LOTTE Championship. Was 101st on the money list with $67,935.
2016 Notes: Played in 17 LPGA events making 5 cuts. Best finish 5th at the Volvik Championship. Was 104th on the money list with $76,263. Played in 6 LET tournaments and finished 2nd at both the Handa Ladies European Masters and the Hero Women?s Indian Open. Belen finished the season 14th positon on the Order of Merit with ? 84,601.
2017 Notes: Was T-6th at the Oates Victorian Open, her only LET start. On the LPGA Tour best finish T-28th Manulife LPGA Classic.
When she's not playing golf, Mozo enjoys playing tennis, reading books and going to the beach. Her favorite on-course snacks are almonds and dried cranberries. Says her dream foursome would consist of Rafael Nadal, Adam Sandler and Channing Tatum. Her boyfriend, Robert Farah, is a professional tennis player.
