Celine Herbin

Following in the footsteps of her father and brother, Celine started golf at age 15 as part of the school's first golf club, the Golf Club's course Poitevin Mignaloux-Beauvoir. In 2011, Herbin thought about giving up golf, but she moved to Spain and met Vicente Ballesteros, the brother of Seve Ballesteros. Vicente became her coach and encouraged her to continue playing.
She played one year of college golf at Bucknell as an exchange student after studying biomechanical engineering in France for five years. She played basketball in college in France and also played tennis and soccer as a youth.
She joined the LET in 2012. Celine played in 15 tournaments. Her best finish was T-18th at the Ladies Irish Open and Hero Women's Indian Open. Season's earnings are euro21,675.34, finishing 91st on the money list.
2013 Notes: Celine played in 11 LET tournaments and recorded her career-best finish of fourth at the Open de Espana at Club de Campo in Madrid. Among her season highlights were three additional top 20s and a low round 66 on day four of the Lalla Meryem Cup at Golf de l Ocean.
2014 Notes: Played in 11 starts, Celine's best finish was T-5th at the Open de Espana Femenino at Golf Costa Adeje in Tenerife.
2015 Notes: Celine broke into the winner's circle when she won a three-hole playoff against Danish rookie Emily Pedersen at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France, becoming the first home winner of the title in 11 years. Having started the final round tied for the lead, she eventually won with a par on the third extra hole, the par-4 18th at Golf de Chantaco, after Pedersen three-putted for a bogey. She made six appearances on the LET throughout the year and also recorded sixth at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco. She had conditional status on the LPGA and missed the cut in both of her starts.
2016 Notes: She played in 11 LET tournaments, and her best finish was T-8th in the Sanya Ladies Open. Played in 15 LPGA events making 9 cuts. Her best finish was T-112th at the Marathon Classic, she finished 100th on the money list. She teamed with Gwladys Nocera to finish second in the team portion of the 2016 World Ladies Championship in China. The French women finished 15 shots back of South Korea's winning team (Jung-Min Lee and Jin-Young Ko).
2017 Notes: Played in 20 LPGA events and made 4 cuts. Best finish T-35th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, she was 150th on the money list. She lost her LPGA card by regained it by finishing T-16th at LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn Priority Category 12 for the 2018 LPGA season. She played in six LET events, and her best finish was T-2nd at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic, losing a playoff to Angel Yin. She was 23rd on the LET Order of Merit list,
2018 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA Tour events and made 12 cuts with two top-ten finishes. Was 96th on the money list with $119,398, and was 100th on the CME point list. Best finish T-9th at the Marathon Classic. She played in six LET events, and her best finish was T-9th at the Estrella Damm Ladies Open. She was 50th on the LET Order of Merit list,
2019 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Tour events making only four cuts. Her best finish was T-27th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational with partner Joanna Klatten. Her best individual finish was T-58th at the ISPS Handa Australian Open. With earnings of just $27,544, she lost her LPGA Tour card. She played in seven events on the LET and won her second LET title at the La Reserva De Sotogrande by a shot over Esther Henseleit. She ended the season 19th in the Order of Merit.
2020 Notes: She only played in six LPGA Tour events as she focused more on playing in Europe to be close to her family. She played in 10 LET events making ten cuts with one top-ten, a T-2nd at the Lacoste Ladies Open De France, where she was a shot back of winner Julia Engstrom. She finished 14th in the Race to Costa Del Sol.
2021 Notes: Played in 15 LPGA events making 8 cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 101st on the CBE Points list and 88th on the money list with $176,811 in earnings. Best finish was T-8th at the Volunteers of America Classic. Played in seven LET events, best finish T-12th at the Investec SA Women's Open.
2022 Notes: Played in 13 LET events making 9 cuts. She was 114th in the Race to Costa Del Sol and was 102nd on the money list with earnings of euro34,356. Best finish on the LET T-18th at the Investec SA Women's Open. Played in 13 LPGA Tour events, making 3 cuts. She was 163rd on the money list with $31,842 in earnings. On the LPGA best finish T-24th at the Dana Open.
2023 Notes: She was T-2nd at the Jabra Ladies Open on the LET, two shots back of winner Linn Grant. She was T-7th at the Aramco Team Series - Florida and T-6th at the Amundi German Masters. The next week shot a final round 67 to finish 3rd at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, five shots back of the winner Diksha Dagar.
