Joe Daley

A self-taught player, Daley got his start at the age of seven hitting a Patty Berg 9-iron with his dad and grandfather. Quit his job as a credit manager in 1992, and at age 32 committed to professional golf. His wife, Carol, has caddied for him at times on the Web.com Tour.
Full-time member of the PGA Tour in 1996 and '98, playing 59 events and making 23 cuts. Has recorded one top-10 finish on the PGA Tour, a tie for 6th in the 1996 B.C. Open. Competed on the Web.com Tour between 1997 and 2009, making 272 career starts. Has made 159 cuts, including 29 top-10s and two wins; the 2005 Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open and 1997 Louisiana Open.
Tried to qualify for the Champions Tour at the end of 2010, finishing tied for 14th in Q-School. He finished tied for 16th at Q-School in 2011, limiting access to Champions Tour events.
2012 Notes: After open qualifying for the first two full-field Champions Tour events of the season, he parlayed a tie for fourth in the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship into a berth in the Constellation Senior Players Championship, which he won. For the victory, he earned $405,000, more than twice what he made in his PGA Tour career and easily surpassing his previous career-best payday, the $85,500 he made for winning on the Web.com Tour in 2005. Went on to finish 27th in season earnings, and his top-30 finish assured him of fully-exempt status for 2013.
2013 Notes: Finished 49th on the Champions Tour money list, recording one top-10 and seven top-25 finishes. His lone top-10 came in October at the SAS Championship, where he finished tied for 8th.
2014 Notes: Played in 20 events, including three via open-qualifying. Was 54th on the final money list. Best finish in more than two years came when he finished T-3rd at the Shaw Charity Classic. Was among three players tied for the lead after 36 holes and led by three strokes at one point Sunday. After his quick start, played his final 12 holes in even-par. It was his best effort since his win in 2012 at the Constellation Senior Players Championship. It was his only top-ten of the year, he finished 54th in the Schwab Rankings. Did return to Champions Tour Q-School but finished T-45th.
2015 Notes: Only played in six events, but finish was T-18th at the Bass Pro Shops Legends partnered with Tom Jenkins.
2016 Notes: In 7 starts his best finish was a T-25th at the Constellation Senior Players Championship. Was 96th in both the money list and Schwab ranking.
