Alexandra Forsterling

Forsterling became a member of the German National Team in 2014, the year in which she won the European Young Masters individually and with the team. Also, in 2014, she was selected for the European team at the Junior Ryder Cup, held at Blairgowrie Golf Club in Scotland. She appeared four times at the European Girls' Team Championship between 2014 and 2017. Along with Helen Tamy Kreuzer, Aline Krauter, and Paula Schulz-Hanssen, she was runner-up at the 2020 European Ladies' Team Championship, beaten 2 & 1 in the final by a Swedish team with Linn Grant, Ingrid Lindblad, Maja Stark, and Beatrice Wallin.
Forsterling won the Berlin Open in 2016, 2017, and 2019. In 2017, she finished third at the Helen Holm Scottish Women's Open Championship, seven shots behind Linn Grant. Fosterling enrolled at Arizona State University in 2018 and started playing with the Arizona State Sun Devils women's golf team. In 2021, she shared the Match in the Desert individual title with teammate Linn Grant, after shooting a 68 in the opening round. In 2021, she won the German International Amateur, carding rounds of 70, 68, 66, and 68 to finish at 272 and win by four. She was runner-up at the European Ladies Amateur in Italy, three strokes behind Ingrid Lindblad.
Forsterling turned professional in December 2022 and joined the 2023 Ladies European Tour after shooting the lowest score at LET Q-School at La Manga in Spain, alongside compatriot Polly Mack.
2023 Notes: Played in 24 LET events and made 19 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 8th in the Race to Costa del Sol and was 24th on the money list with earnings of euro203,366. She was T-5th at the La Sella Open, three shots back of the Nuria Iturrioz/Laura Fuenfstueck playoff. She won the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open by two shots over Madelene Stavnar. Won again at the Mallorca Ladies Open by five shots over Trichat Cheenglab. At the end of the year, she finished 27th in the finals of the LPGA Q Series to earn a card for 2024.
2024 Notes: Won the Aramco Team Series-Tampa by three shots over Charley Hull and won again at the Amundi German Masters, beating Emma Spitz with a birdie on the second playoff hole. It was her fourth win in her last 11 starts on the LET. She qualified for the Paris Olympics as a member of Germany?s women?s golf team and finished 35th. She finished 10th on the LET Order of Merit. Played in 17 LPGA Tour events, making 10 cuts. She was 120th on the money list with $132,839 in earnings and 135th in CME Points. Best finish on the LPGA Tour, T-27th at the ShopRite Classic. She played at the Paris Olympics as a member of Germany's women's golf team, finishing 35th.
2025 Notes: Switched her focus back to the LET Tour, best finish T-38th at the Dutch Ladies Open.
