She began playing golf at age 6 and played on a regional team in Germany as a youth. She moved to Wesley Chapel, Fla. as a teen and attended high school in Florida for three years. She will be a senior at Stanford in September, where she is an International Relations major. As a freshman in 2018-19, I was an honorable All-Pac 12 and WGCA honorable mention All-American. In 2019-20, was a WGCA All-American Scholar and a WGCA second-team All-American. In 2021, She was a WGCA All-American Scholar. Was T-44th in the NCAA Women's Division Golf Championship. 2020 Notes: She was a member of the German team in the European Ladies Team Championship and finished 7th in the individual portion of the event. She has been a fixture of the Women's British Amateur Championship for years. Both 2016 & '17 made it to the final 64; in 2018, it was in the final 16. Krauter birdied 15 and 16 to win the match 2 & 1. In the finals against Annabell Fuller, Krauter was 3 down after 4 holes but fought back, winning six of the next eight holes. Krauter was about to hole on and with a par on 18 won the match 1 up. Unfortunately, because of her playing in the U.S. Women's Open in San Francisco, she wasn't able to defend her amateur title.
2021 Notes: Her Amateur title allowed her to play in the ANA Inspiration, U.S. Women's Open, and Amundi Evian Championship, but she missed the cut in all three. She did get to play in the U.S. Women's Amateur and made it to the round of 16, losing to Cara Heisterkamp 7 & 5. Krauter was invited to the 2022 Augusta National Women's Amateur and finished T-8th.
