Beatriz Recari

Started playing golf at age 11 and credits her father as the individual who influenced her career the most. Also helping her are: coach Jesus Arruti, physical trainer Javier Aguirre, psychologist Ignacio Ventura, second coach Fernando Nunez and doctor Jose Calabuig. When she's not playing golf, Beatriz likes to listen to music, read, play tennis, go to the gym and cross-country ski. Says her favorite thing about being a professional golfer is traveling to different countries and learning about their cultures. Was named an ambassador for The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness in March of 2013.
Played full-time on the Ladies European Tour between 2006 and 2009 and won the Finnair Masters in 2009. Finished 10th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she earned Priority List Category 11 for the 2010 LPGA season.
In 2010, became a first-time winner at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge, defeating Gladys Nocera by one stroke. She was also T-7th at the LPGA Tour Championship and T-9th at both the Sybase Match Play Championship and the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
2011 Notes: She made 23 starts and her best finish was a T-11th at the ShopRite LPGA Classic. She played in three LET events with a season-best T-28th at the Ladies Irish Open.
2012 Notes: Played in 27 events, made all 27 cuts and earned $444,620 (32nd on the money list) mostly on the strength of five top-10 finishes. Season-best finish was a T6 at the Navistar LPGA Classic. Was one of three players who did not miss a cut on the year, along with Karrie Webb and Jiyai Shin.
2013 Notes: Made 22 of 25 cuts and finished eighth on the Tour money list. Had seven top-10s and won the Marathon Classic after four rounds in the 60s (69-65-67-66), and captured the title at the Kia Classic after finishing at 9-under par. Crossed the $1 million mark in season earnings for the first time in her career. Competed on her first European Solheim Cup Team and posted a 3-1-1 record.
2014 Notes: Hampered by a hip injury at the start of the year, she fell from eighth to 53rd on the money list with $309,058 and was 42nd in CME points with 19 cuts made in 27 starts. She was a part of the Spanish team that won the inaugural International Crown. Recari beat Mikaela Parmlid of Sweden, 3 and 2, as Spain finished 4-0 in singles play. She had her only top-10 finish of the year with a T-8th at the KEB Hana Bank LPGA Championship.
2015 Notes: She made 14 cuts in 25 starts and ranked 75th on the LPGA money list. Her best showing was a T-5th at the Honda LPGA Thailand, where she shot a 63 in the final round to finish three back of winner Amy Yang.
2016 Notes: Played in 29 LPGA events making 23 cuts with 2 top-tens, T-4th at the CME Group Tour Championship and T-6th at the Marathon Classic. Was 49th on the money list with $386,325 and 14th in CME points.
2017 Notes: Best finish T-15th at the HSBC Women's Champions.
