Played in the U.S. Open in 1982 and 1983 but missed the cut both times. Played on the PGA Tour in 1974-75 and 1979-80, with best finish a T-11th at the 1974 Tallahassee Open. Captured titles at the 1997 Metropolitan PGA Head Professional Championship, 1990 New York State Open and the Metropolitan Open (1988 and 1989). Named the 1990 Metropolitan PGA Player of the Year. A five-time Metropolitan PGA Senior Player of the Year. 1990 New York State Open, 1982 Nissan Classic, 1987 Dodge Open, 1981 South Australia PGA Championship, 1981, '82,'83, '88, '90, '92 Westchester Open champion. 1983 and 1990 Metropolitan PGA Player of the Year. 2001, '02, '03 Metropolitan PGA Senior Player of the Year. T-8th in the 1981 Australia Open. Competed in two U.S. Opens and two PGA Championships. Is the head golf professional at Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase, N.Y. Currently coaches PGA Tour member Johnson Wagner, who won the 2008 Shell Houston Open.
Won Metropolitan Senior Head Pro Championship in 2011. Won Metropolitan Senior Open in 2010.
