Brooke Pancake

A member of the 2012 USA Curtis Cup Team. Graduated from the University of Alabama with a 4.0 GPA. In her senior year, she won the 2012 Honda Award, which is given annually to the nation's top female collegiate golfer. Was named the 2012 Capital One Academic All-American of the Year. Clinched the 2012 national championship with a 3-foot putt on the 72nd hole for the program's first title as well as a runner-up finish individually.
Named to the All-SEC first team. Was a semifinalist at the 2011 U.S. Women's Amateur. In her junior year, she was a Capital One Academic All-American and an All-SEC selection. She tied the school record for low 18-hole score, twice, with a pair of 65s. Led the nation in fewest three putts per round with a .41. Won the 2011 Tar Heel Invitational for her first collegiate victory. Helped capture the school's first regional crown at the 2011 NCAA East Regional. Won the 2011 Edith Cummings Munson Golf Award for the All-American with the highest GPA.
Played in the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur, and made it to the round of 64. In her sophomore year, she led the team to its first SEC Championship and she placed fifth individually. Named to the All-SEC second team. The school's first winner of the NCAA Elite 88 award for holding the highest adjusted GPA competing in a national tournament with a 4.18 GPA in the honors business school.
During her freshman year at Alabama she earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors and was named to the SEC Freshman Honor Role. Led the nation in driving accuracy with 94 percent. Over her four years at Alabama, she had 19 top-10 finishes. Was a three-time All-American, SEC Women's Golf Scholar Athlete of the Year and NGCA Scholar Athlete. Before coming to Alabama, she was inducted into the Tennessee Women's Sports Hall of Fame for her in-state accomplishments; holds the record for most consecutive state titles won from 2005-2008, the state's 18 and 36-hole scoring records (18-hole score was a 64 at Old Fort Country Club in 2007).
At the end of 2012, T-3rd at LPGA Q-School, which gave her access to the LPGA Tour in 2013.
2013 Notes: Played her rookie season on the LPGA Tour and made six cuts out of 17 events to finish 98th on the Tour money list with $63,647. Had a season-best finish of T-13th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
2014 Notes: Pancake was 88th on the money list with $117,051 and 78th in CME points with 14 cuts made in 19 starts. Best finish was T-17th at the Lotte Championship. Signed a sponsorship deal with Waffle House in the offseason
In 2015, has only made the cut in four of 13 starts.Top finish was T-38th at the Pure Silk-Bahamas, an event she was the first round leader in.
When she's not playing golf, Brooke enjoys doing yoga and reading. Says her best on-course memory is making the winning putt at the 2013 NCAA national championship to give Alabama its first national title in the program's history. Claims her secret talent is singing, but "her friends would beg to differ." Graduated from Alabama in 2012 with a degree in Marketing.
