Missed the first few months of the 2004 season when he suffered a rib injury during the Dubai Desert Classic and was unable to play until the Canarias Open de España in May. Struggled for much of the year but finished the season in a flourish with three top tens in his last seven events including finishing runner-up in The Heritage and third in the Mallorca Classic. Has played in 164 European Tour events, best finish 2nd in 2002 Trophee Lancome, 2003 Volvo Masters and the 2004 Heritage. Finished in the top-ten, 14 times.
