Chan Kim

Kim was born in Suwon, South Korea, but grew up in Hawaii was an American citizen, and played his college golf at Arizona State. He won the 2009 Pacific Coast Amateur. He was also twice the winner of the Arizona Stroke Play Championship. Played on the Asian Tour in 2013 and '14, best year was '13 when he was 56th in the order of merit. The highlight of his rookie season came when he was the winner of the 2013 Asian Tour qualifying school and almost won his first Asian Tour title at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship in Chinese Taipei only to be pushed into second place by Thai legend Thaworn Wiratchant.
