Winner, 2018 Indiana PGA Section Indianapolis Open. Played steadily on the PGA Tour from 1998-2006. In all, has played in 334 PGA Tour events since 1987, made 165 cuts and claimed one victory: the 2002 Buick Classic.
Was the first golfer on the Web.Com Tour to immediately move up to the PGA Tour by way of the "battlefield promotion", which is awarded to a player who wins three tournaments in one Web.Com Tour season. Played in a total of 190 Web.Com Tour events making 98 cuts with 29 top-10 finishes. Earned a total of $961,986 as he won five times. In 1997, was named Web.Com Tour Player of the Year and also led the money list with $225,201, winning the Upstate Classic; Dakota Dunes Open; Omaha Classic.
Played collegiately at Ohio State and won the Big 10 Individual Championship in 1990...was a 4-time All Big 10 selection, 1988 Big 10 Freshman of the Year and 1990 Big 10 Player of the Year...in 2013, was inducted into the Indiana Golf Hall Of Fame...collected another professional win in the Indiana PGA Indianapolis Open. 2018 Indiana Section Player of the Year. 2000 inductee into The Ohio State Hall of Fame.
Just turned 50 so this will be his first event on the PGA Tour Champions.
