Has two runner-up finishes on the Hooters Tour in 2011 at the River Islands Golf Club Classic and the Avoca Classic presented by Colony Tire, both in May. Has made the cut in every start on the Hooters Tour this year.
Won the 2006 Big Ten Individual Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Ill. Played in four U.S. Junior Amateurs from 1999-2002, advancing to the second round of match play in 2002. Played in the 2005 U.S. Amateur at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Penn.
Won 2003 Ohio Junior Amateur. 7th on the all-time Northwestern stroke average list. Won 99th Ohio Amateur Championship in 2005. Runner-up in 103rd Western Amateur in 2005. Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner in 2007. Picked up golf at a young age going to the driving range with his father. Played baseball and golf in high school, but had to give up baseball because the two sports were both played in the fall. Chose golf because of its reputation of honesty and the honor of the game. Biggest thrill in golf was earning PGA Tour card at Qualifying School and fulfilling a lifelong dream.
