Cliff Kresge

Got started in golf at age 8 when parents moved to the 13th hole of Dubsdread GC. His golf swing is natural, has never used an instructor.
Finished 36th on 2000 NGA/Hooters Tour money list. Member of the Nike Tour in 1997 and 1998. Got off to a successful start in his rookie season on the 1997 Nike Tour, posting four top-10 finishes in his first five events. Best finishes were T-3rd in the Lakeland Classic and Greater Austin Open.
Gained his first PGA Tour card by finishing T-21st finish at the 2000 PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament. Gained notoriety during Q-School's final round. Was lining up a long par putt at the water-guarded ninth green. Deep in concentration moved back, back, back and then over the embankment and into the water. Climbed out, missed the putt and made bogey. He managed to finish out the back nine holes in rain pants and a wet shirt to complete the grueling 108 holes of competition at 18-under par.
Member of the PGA Tour in 2001, 2003-04 and 2007-10 he played in 212 events making 101 cuts with 11 top-10 finishes. Member of the Web.com Tour in 1997-98, 2002 and 2005-06 and 2011-12. Played in 231 Web.COm Tour events making 133 cuts with 29 top-10 finishes.
