Guy Boros

Son of two-time U.S. Open Champion and 1968 PGA Champion, Julius Boros. Guy caddied for his dad for several years on the PGA Tour at the end of his father's career. He played on the Canadian Tour, where he led the merit list in 1991. He also played on the Australasian Tour in 1991 and 1992, then the Web.Com Tour between 1993 and 2014, playing in 294 events and making 122 cuts. He won three times - 2001 Tri-Cities Open, 2003 Lake Erie Charity Classic at Peek 'n Peak Resort and the Dayton Open. He also had 20 top-10 finishes.
He was a member of the PGA Tour between 1994 and 1998, also playing in 2002 and 2004. He played in 252 events and won the 1996 Greater Vancouver Open, which made him the first son of a former PGA Tour winner to capture a PGA Tour event since Vance Heafner, son of Clayton Heafner won the 1981 Walt Disney World National Team Championship. Joe Kirkwood, Jr. was the last son to win an official title in 1951.
2014 Notes: Made his Champions Tour debut at the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship where he finished T-53rd. A month after turning 50, he open-qualified for the SAS Championship, topping the leaderboard after the first round with a 6-under 66. He eventually finished T-10th at Prestonwood C.C., thanks to a birdie on the 17th hole. In 18 starts, his top Web.com Tour finish was a 14th-place showing at the United Leasing Championship. He made two starts on the PGA Tour and missed the cut in both events.
2015 Notes: Playing on a sponsor's exemption, Boros found himself two strokes off the lead after 36 holes of the Allianz Championship before finishing T-11th. He made the cut at the PGA Tour's Puerto Rico Open, finishing T-64th and had his second career Champions Tour top 10 with a T-10th at the Principal Charity Classic. Had his best Champions Tour finish at the Boeing Classic, his T-3rd was two back of winner Billy Andrade and was his best finish on any tour since finishing 3rd in the 1997 Hyundai Tournament of Champions. Was 52nd on the money list and 49th in the Schwab rankings. At the end of the year finished T-41st in Champions Tour Q-School.
2016 Notes: Played in 8 PGA Tour Champions events and finished 104th on the money list. His best finish T-30th came in his first start of the year at the Allianz Championship.
2017 Notes: Played in 6 PGA Tour Champions events and finished 148th on the money list. Best finish T-56th a the Allianz Championship. Went back to Champions Q-School and finished T-15th.
2018 Notes: In his only start, T-39th at the Principal Charity Classic.
