Gwladys Nocera

Started playing golf at age five with her parents and sister.
Enjoyed a solid amateur career where she won the 2002 French International and German International. Runner-up at the 2002 French Amateur and 1998 British Ladies Amateur. Member of the winning 1999 European Team Championship squad and 2000 French Women's World Amateur Team, a squad that also included current LPGA Tour player Karine Icher.
Member of the 2005, 2007 and 2009 European Solheim Cup Teams.
In 2006, she won three times on the Ladies European Tour at the Swiss Open, BMW Ladies Italian Open and Catalonia Ladies Masters, and finished second on the tour's money list behind Laura Davies. Had 11 top-10 finishes.
In 2007, she won two events on the Ladies European Tour - KLM Ladies Open and EMAAR-MGF Ladies Masters.
In 2008, she won five events on the Ladies European Tour - Ladies Scottish Open, ABN AMRO Ladies Open, SAS Ladies Masters, Goteborg Masters, Madrid Ladies Masters.
In 2009, she played in 17 Ladies European Tour events and recorded seven top-10 finishes - second at the Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open in China; T-2nd at the AIB Ladies Irish Open; T-3rd at the UNIQA Ladies Golf Open in Austria; T-4th at the ANZ Ladies Masters; fifth at the Carta Si Ladies Italian Open; eighth at the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters; and T-8th at the Deutsche Bank Ladies Open. Finished the year in ninth on the Henderson Money List with season's earnings of ?137,730.27. In addition, alongside Anne-Lise Caudal, she represented France at the Comunitat Valenciana European Nations Cup and tied for second; also competed on her third consecutive European Solheim Cup Team, earning the most points for her team with three and a half points. She finished 16th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she earned Priority List Category 11 for the 2010 LPGA season.
In 2010, her best finish was second at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge. She tied for sixth at the LPGA State Farm Classic and recorded four top-10 finishes in the LET.
In 2011, she played in 13 tournaments in the LET and recorded two top 10s, including second at the Portugal Ladies Open and T-3rd at the Sicilian Ladies Italian Open.
Played in 22 LET events in 2012 and posted four top-10 finishes, including a season-best T-5th at the Gold Coast RACV Ladies Masters and Omega Dubai Ladies Masters. Finished the year ranked 17th on the LET earnings list.
2013 Notes: Played in 21 events and captured two wins along with four additional top-10 finishes. Won the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open by four-strokes and the Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open by two strokes. Was runner-up at the Lacoste Ladies Open.
2014 Notes: Has played in 20 LET events, and her best finish was winning the Hero Women's Indian Open. She also placed second at the Lalla Meryem Cup after she shot rounds of 69-68-65-67. Nocera finished second on the 2014 Order of Merit race with ?233,289.
2015 Notes: Played in 17 events on the LET, with an impressive 11 top-10 finishes. She won the Lalla Meryem Cup and ranked fourth on the Order of Merit. Nocera played on her 4th European Solheim Cup team and was 1-1 in the matches.
When she's not playing golf, Gwladys likes to play all sports, travel, read and listen to music. She graduated from New Mexico State University in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in international business.
