Jane Park

Started playing golf at age 11. Had a well-decorated amateur career. In 2003, she was runner-up at the U.S. Women's Amateur and T-30th at the U.S. Women's Open. She won the Kathy Whitworth Junior Invitational, the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) McDonald's Betsy Rawls Girls' National Championship and finished second to Paula Creamer in a sudden-death playoff at the AJGA's Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Advanced to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship. In 2004, won the U.S Women's Amateur with a 2-up victory over Amanda McCurdy in the final at The Kahkwa Club in Erie, Pa., and was runner-up at the U.S. Girls' Junior. Also a member of the victorious 2004 U.S. Curtis Cup Team.
When she's not golfing, Park likes watching the NBA (she is a diehard Lakers fan), reading, playing the piano and listening to music, especially oldies, jazz, and hip-hop. Known for her sense of humor, she was named one of the 50 Must-Follow Tweeters in Golf by Golf.com.
In 2006, turned professional in August. T-18th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2007 LPGA season.
In 2007, best finish was a T-17th at the Sybase Classic Presented by ShopRite and garnered medalist honors at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2008 LPGA season.
In 2008, twice recorded a career-best T-2nd at the season-opening SBS Open at Turtle Bay and P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship. Also, T-3rd at the MasterCard Classic and T-4th at the Ginn Tribute.
In 2009, played in 21 events, best finish was a T-6th at the HSBC Women's Champions.
In 2010, played in 15 events, best finish T-21st at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge.
In 2011, played in 13 events, best finish was a T-29th at the Kia Classic. T-35th at the LPGA State Farm Classic where she crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings.
2012 Notes: Played 15 events, making seven cuts. Season-best finish was T-25th at the Kingsmill Championship. Earned $54,648 which ranks 94th on the money list.
2013 Notes: Played in 23 events and made 20 cuts, finishing 51st on the Tour money list. Recorded two top-10 finishes including a season-best T-6th at the Kia Classic. Carded a career-low 61 during the third round of the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.
2014 Notes: She was 79th on the money list with $136,521 and 80th in CME Points with 11 cuts made in 16 starts. Her best finish was a T-11th at the LPGA Championship.
2015 Notes: Played in 26 events and made 20 cuts, with two top-10 finishes, ranking 50th on the LPGA money list. Best finish was at the U.S. Women's Open, where she opened with a 66 and finished T-5th.
2016 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA events making 11 cuts. Best finish was a T-12th at the Evian Championship. She finished 84th on the money list with $165,969 and 84th in CME points.
2017 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA events making 20 cuts. She had her only two top 10s in consecutive weeks with a T-8th at the Canadian Pacific Women's Open and a T-9th at the Cambia Portland Classic. Was 56th on the money list.
2018 Notes: Played in 25 LPGA events making 21 cuts with just one top-ten. T-4th at the KIA Classic, she was 3 back of winner Eun-Hee Ji. She won $297,576 and was 65th on the money list and 43rd in the Race to CME.
2019 Notes: Best finish T-17th at the ISPS Handa Vic Open.
Her husband, Pete Godfrey, is a caddie on the LPGA Tour. He has caddied for Lydia Ko, Ha Na Jang and Ariya Jutanugarn.
