Jenny Suh Thompson

Jenny Suh started playing golf at the age of 7. While at the University of Alabama, Suh recorded 12 top-10 finishes in collegiate competition, including three wins. She was named to the 2006 U.S.A Curtis Cup Team and won the 2006 North and South Women's Amateur Golf Championship.
Played in three U.S. Girls' Juniors (1999, 2001, 2002), four U.S. Women's Amateurs (2004-07), two U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links (2004-05) and was a quarterfinalist at the 2005 U.S. Women's Amateur.
Credits her parents for the people who influenced her career the most. Hobbies include eating, sleeping, spending time with family and friends, reading and working out.
In 2007, turned professional in August; finished T-22nd at the Final Qualifying Tournament to earn
2009 Notes: Captured a win the Alliance Bank Classic on the LPGA Futures Tour.
2011 Notes: Best finish was T-29th at the RR Donell LPGA Founders Cup on the LPGA Tour. Finished T-2nd at the Alliance Bank Golf Classic on the Symetra Tour.
2012 Notes: Played in 15 events on the Symetra Tour. Season-best finish was T-2nd at the Four Winds Invitational. Total of three top-10 finishes.
2013 Notes: Competed in 15 events, making 13 cuts. Recorded 3 top-10 finishes and won the Maryland State Open.
2014 Notes: Suh competed in 3 Symetra Tour events with two top-20 finishes.
Since then she has retired from competitive golf and in a story on the Symetra Tour website said, "I've played a lot longer than I ever anticipated that I would already, and to make it to the LPGA and play at the highest level was my dream," Suh said. "So I did it and now I can leave happy. I feel very fortunate because a lot of my friends couldn't leave on their own terms, like they're injured or their health wasn't good. But to me, this is my decision, so I'm very happy."
