Captured the 2012 Southworth Senior PGA Professional National Championship at Creighton Farms in Aldie, Va., by hitting a 245-yard approach to 18 inches on 72nd hole, tapping in for an eagle and a one-stroke victory. In the process, he became the first South Central PGA member to win either a PGA Professional or Senior PGA Professional National Championship. Competed in the 2013 Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid after competing in four consecutive Senior PGA Championships from 2008 through 2011, with best finish T-46th in 2008. Runner-up in the 1990 Canadian Open. T-11th, 2007 U.S. Senior Open, and finished T-17 at the 1987 U.S. Open at The Olympic Club. Has competed in 11 PGA Professional National Championships, with best finishes T-8 in 1986 and 2000. Two-time winner of the California State Open. 1987, 1999 and 2001 South Central PGA Champion. 2001-05 South Central PGA Professional Champion. 2001 South Central PGA Player of the Year. Has recorded nine holes-in-one. Competed on the PGA Tour between 1990 and 1994, played a total of 126 events; best finish was T-2nd at 1990 Canadian Open, he had three top-10 finishes and made 47 cuts, earning a total of $394,212.
