Joe Ozaki

The youngest of the three famous Ozaki brothers (Jumbo and Jet), he has played both on the PGA Tour and the Japan Golf Tour. Has captured 35 victories on his home circuit in Japan. Became the Japan Golf Tour money leader twice in 1991 with ¥119,507,974 yen and in 1999 with ¥137, 641,796 yen and ranked second four times in 1984, 1988, 1989, and 1992.
Was fully exempt into the Champions Tour 2006 after he finished third at the 2005 Champions Tour National Qualifying Tournament. Was the second- and third-round leader before finishing third in his first attempt. Was the medalist at the first stage held at MetroWest CC in Florida.
Since 2006 has been in the top-50 of the money list which has made him exempt for most of his Champions Tour career. Best finish on the Champions Tour to date is a tie for second at the 2007 Boeing Classic.
In 2011, recorded a string of T-3rd finishes in three consecutive starts at the Toshiba Classic, Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am and Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf.
2012 Notes: He played in just one Champions Tour event, finishing T59th at the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship.
In 2013, he has played in the Senior PGA Championship, finishing 19th.
