In seventh attempt at the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament and first time at the final stage, finished triple bogey, double bogey, par, double bogey to drop from 19-under to 12-under in the six-round qualifying tournament at La Quinta, Calif. Late collapse cost him his PGA Tour card but earned a spot on the 2009 Web.com Tour.
2009 Web.Com Tour Summary: Tournaments entered - 26; in money - 17; top-10 finishes - 5; Scoring - 70.18 (ranked 22nd); money $326,438 (ranked 7th); best finish winner, Utah Championship. His place on the money list got him his PGA Tour card for 2010.
2010 Notes: In rookie year, claimed two top-10s and eight top-25 finishes in 31 stars, highlighted by a 3rd place finish at the Turning Stone Resort Championship. Finished 89 on the money list and 76th in FedEx Cup race.
2011 Notes: Made 20 of 31 cuts to go with two top-10s and seven top-25s. Earned first top-10 of the year in his 26th start, a T10th at the Reno-Tahoe Open. Next top-10 finish came at the Frys.com Open, T7th. Finished 110th on the money list and 102nd in FedEx Cup race.
2012 Notes: Made 19 of 30 cuts to go with four top-10s and seven top-25s. Best finish T4th at RBC Canadian Open. Finished 98th on the money list and 73rd in FedEx Cup race.
In 2013 finished T15th in first event, Sony Open in Hawaii. Two weeks later had his best finish T2nd at Farmers Insurance Open, four shots back of winner Tiger Woods. Has added two more top-tens, T6th at Northern Trust Open and T7th Crowne Plaza Colonial.
