Karine Icher

Started playing golf at age 10 and credits her parents as the individuals who have most influenced her career. Married Fred Bonnargent in April of 2006. Icher was a member of the 1999 European Team champions and the 2000 World Team champions.
Karine's best on-course golf memory was sinking a 45-foot putt to win her Saturday four-ball match at the 2013 Solheim Cup. Says if she could go anywhere for a day, she would go to the moon.
In 2001, won twice on the LET: the Palmerston Ladies German Open and the Mexx Sport Open. In 2002, won the Caja Duerno Open de Espana Femenino, an event on the LET. Finished T-7th at the Evian Masters and was a member of the European Solheim Cup Team. T-38th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2003 LPGA season.
In 2003, returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she was T-65th to retain non-exempt status for the 2004 LPGA season.
In 2004, competed in 13 events on the LET, where she won the Catalonia Ladies Masters and posted four additional top-10 finishes. Returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she was T-55th to retain non-exempt status for the 2005 LPGA season.
In 2005, had a career-best second-place finish at the Corona Morelia Championship. Carded a career-low 64 during the second round of the Mizuno Classic. Successfully defended her title at the Catalonia Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour (LET). In 2006, recorded a season-best T-4th at the KOLON-Hana Bank Championship.
In 2007, best finish was a T-15th at the Corona Championship. Crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings with a T-25th at the Hana Bank KOLON Championship 2007.
In 2008, best finish was a T-3rd at the Corona Championship. In 2009, best finish was a T-9th at the LPGA Corning Classic, where she carded a career-low 64 in the opening round.
In 2011, finished T-18th at the Honda LPGA Thailand. Was T-21st at the HSBC Women's Champions and T-39th at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup.
2012 Notes: Played in 24 events and made 19 cuts, earning $541,532 (27th on the money list). She had six top-10 finishes and a season-best third-place finish at the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic and a T-3rd at the Kingsmill Championship.
2013 Notes: Played in 25 events and made the cut in all but two. Recorded five top-10 finishes. Best finish was a T-4th at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic. Played in five events on the Ladies European Tour, where her best finish was T-5th at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France.
2014 Notes: She was 33rd on the money list and 28th in CME points, making the cut in 27 of 28 starts. She had four top-10s and was T-3rd at the Handa Women's Australian Open, three shots back of winner Karrie Webb. Missed her only cut of the year at the Wegmans LPGA Championship after making 17 straight to start the season.
2015 Notes: Played in 29 LPGA events making 25 cuts, was 37th on the money list and 13th in CME points. Made the cut in her first 10 starts of the year and had made 20 straight cuts, dating to 2014, before missing the cut in the Kingsmill Championship. Her first top-10 was a T-9th at the Canadian Pacific Women's Open and second and best finish was in the last event of the year, as she was 5th at the CME Group Tour Championship. She was named to the European Solheim Cup team for the third time as a captain's pick by Euro captain Carin Koch and was 2-1-0 in the matches, including a key 3-and-2 singles win over Brittany Lincicome that kept European hopes alive.
2016 Notes: She played in 29 LPGA events, making 25 cuts with 5 top-10s. Was T-2nd at the Manulife Classic, finishing one shot back of Caroline Masson. She had her second runner-up finish of the year with a T-2nd at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational, finishing two back of winner Carlota Ciganda. Was 28th on the money list with earnings of $628,068 and 19th in CME points. She was T-44th at the Rio Olympics as a member of France's golf team.
2017 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA events, making 23 cuts. Had three top-10 finishes, best was T-4th at the KIA Classic. She lost in the quarterfinals (T-5th) of the Lorena Ochoa Match Play to eventual winner Sei Young Kim, in 20 holes. Also was T-10th at the ANA Inspiration. She was named to the European Solheim Cup team, playing for the fourth time and was 2-1-1 in the matches. Was 40th on the money list.
2018 Notes: Best finish was T-11th at the JTBC Founders Cup. She played most of the season while pregnant with her second child and stopped competing after the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Her second daughter, Maya, was born on Nov. 3. Her first child Lola was born in 2011.
2019 Notes: Played her first event at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup, missed the cut in her first 3 starts finishing T-61st at the LPGA Mediheal Championship.
