Tied for medalist honors at the Carolina Trace C.C. (Lake Course) sectional in Sanford, N.C., with a 146. This will be her second U.S. Women's Open start, the first coming in 2009.
Named to the 2012 All-ACC team, which included four top-20 and five top-30 finishes. Named to the 2011 ACC Honor Roll. Best performance was at the 2011 ACC Championships, where she finished in sixth and led the Tar Heels to an ACC Championship. Won the 2011 North Carolina Women's Amateur. Advanced to the round of 16 at the North & South Women's Amateur. Won the 2010 Carolinas/Georgia Championship. Champion of the 2010 Carolina Junior Girls' Championship. Played on the victorious 2010 Mid Atlantic Girls Challenge Team. Runner-up at the 2010 North Carolina Women's Amateur. Advanced to the semifinals of the 2010 North Carolina Junior Championship. Played in the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur. Won the 2009 U.S. Women's Open qualifier that she played in. Was the 2009 Girls' N.C. Junior Player of the Year. Was the 2009 North Carolina High School 4-A Women's Golf Champion. Greatest golfing moment was winning the 2011 ACC Championship. Her favorite golf course is Pine Needles in Southern Pines, N.C. She loves sharks. In her spare time she likes spending time with her family and learning guitar.
