Lindsey Wright

Started playing golf at the age of 9. Credits her parents, Linda and Len, and her brothers, Neil and James, as the individuals most influencing her career. She is an Australian citizen.
Finished second at the 2001 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship while at Pepperdine University. Was a semifinalist at the 2002 U.S. Women's Amateur, finished second at the 2002 World Cup in Malaysia and was a finalist at the 2002 British Amateur Championship. Played in the 2003 Kraft Nabisco Championship as an amateur and tied for 57th.
In 2003, turned professional in June and competed on the Futures Tour, where she won the G.E. Futures Professional Golf Classic. She tied for 54th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2004 LPGA season.
In 2004, competed on the Futures Tour, where she won the Bank of Ann Arbor Futures Golf Classic and finished second on the money list to earn exempt status for the 2005 LPGA season.
In 2005, played in 22 events, best finish was a tie for fifth at the Longs Drugs Challenge.
In 2006, played in 26 events, best finish was a tie for sixth at the CN Canadian Women's Open.
In 2007, played in 24 events best finish was fourth at the McDonald's LPGA Championship.
In 2008, played in 24 events, recorded a season-best third-place finish at the Fields Open in Hawaii. Crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings at the Ginn Open, where she tied for 17th.
In 2009, played in 24 events, recorded a career-best runner-up finish at the McDonald's LPGA Championship. Carded a career-low 64 in the third round of the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill, where she tied for third. Also finished fourth at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
In 2010, played in 16 events, best finish was a tie for fifth at the Navistar LPGA Classic.
In 2011, played in 15 events, best finish was a tie for 24th at the HSBC Women's Champions.
In 2012, played in 17 events, 14 cuts made, $257,052 (49). Had 2 top-10 finishes, recorded season-best T6 at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
